Bombshell Republican informant on Biden crimes is now missing
The whistleblower who was supposedly going to reveal information about the Biden family's alleged fraud is now missing. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer had claimed that the whistleblower had evidence of crimes committed by Joe and Hunter Biden. However, the term “whistleblower” was a stretch because no evidence of any crime had been seen. The story began with a memo containing redacted images of bank account transactions, which were argued to be evidence of crimes. On Fox News, Maria Bartitormo attempted to build drama around the news but ended up being transparently pathetic. Comer admitted that Republicans had lost track of a key witness in an investigation into the alleged bribery scheme involving the Biden family. The committee also has not come forward with tangible evidence of the alleged scheme. This is a major fail for right-wingers, on par with the time Tucker Carlson claimed to have a copy of Hunter Biden's laptop, but that it got lost in the mail.
Dangerous, deranged Trump cult shows up to cancelled rally
A Trump rally was expected to take place over the weekend in Des Moines, Iowa, but it was ultimately canceled, either due to a lack of interest or poor weather conditions. Despite this, some Trump supporters still showed up to the event, knowing it was canceled, showing a cult-like dedication to the former president. Those in attendance were asked why they decided to come anyway and gave concerning answers. One man said, “I think all of the attacks against President Trump that are just totally unprecedented, you know, the legal allegations against him, I just feel obligated knowing how much President Trump has stood up for me and has stood up for all of these Americans. I feel obligated to come out here and show my support for him.” It’s difficult to imagine how people believe Trump is supporting them specifically instead of simply trying to get votes and attention from them. But this is a hallmark of cult-like behavior. Despite there always having been political differences in the United States, not too long ago there was a much higher level of discourse and intellectual engagement among the general public, whereas now being part of a cult-like following is the norm.

MyPillow Mike Lindell says "Election Crimes Summit" will be most watched in history
Mike Lindell, the CEO and founder of MyPillow, is planning to host an Election Crime Bureau summit in Springfield, Missouri in August. Lindell claims that the event will reveal evidence of election crimes, even though his previous events have failed to produce any. Lindell said in the announcement, “It's going to be the biggest simulcast or the biggest watch program, I hope, in history, because of you.” Apparently, Lindell loves losing, because not only is he continually being proven wrong on these election fraud claims, but he’s also lost millions and millions of dollars in this effort. Lindell has recently been ordered to pay $5 million to cyber expert Bob Zeidman, who proved Lindell's claims of 2020 election fraud wrong. It remains to be seen whether any evidence of election crimes will be revealed at the upcoming summit. But more than likely, this will just be more of the same from Lindell and few people will tune into the broadcast.
From over the weekend:
The REAL cancel culture is right-wingers
"Cancel culture" is a phenomenon primarily pushed by the American right wing, but in fact, they are the ones pushing for censorship, book-banning, and other forms of cancellation. The right-wing wants to force businesses to publish COVID-19 misinformation and ban certain books or phrases. They also want to restrict what teachers can teach and what businesses can require of their customers. Right-wingers have also tried to cancel certain companies, such as Nike and Bud Light, for their support of social issues. Additionally, they have tried to cancel individuals like Colin Kaepernick, Liz Cheney, and Mitt Romney. In recent years, the American right-wing has abandoned policy issues and is instead running on fringe positions on social issues, which goes against the majority opinion in the country. It is indeed the right that has become overly sensitive and afraid of everything, while also wanting to invoke the power of the state to control and cancel others.
