MyPillow Mike Lindell Phone Seized by FBI at Fast Food Drive-Thru
MyPillow guy Mike Lindell claims that his cell phone was seized by FBI agents at a Hardee’s restaurant drive-through. Lindell told the story first in a video he released directly to the public and then on his Lindell TV network. In the first appearance, the pillow guy said, “The FBI came after me and took my phone and surrounded me at a Hardee's and took my phone that I run all my businesses, everything with. They could have just — what we've done is weaponize the FBI. It's disgusting.” Donald Trump posted to Truth Social about the news, saying in part, “The majesty of the United States is gone. Can’t let this happen. TAKE BACK AMERICA!” At this point there is no independent confirmation that the FBI seized Lindell’s phone but assuming it’s true, the pillow guy could soon find himself in massive trouble for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
Bill Maher & Aaron Rodgers Say Very Dumb Things
NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers appeared on Bill Maher’s podcast “Club Random” and the two went back and forth making pseudo-intellectual comments about the COVID-19 vaccines. Rodgers started out by saying, “that’s my problem with society today which is that why does everything have to be so f**king bipartisan?” Of course, Aaron meant partisan, not bipartisan, so he wasn’t off to a great start. They went on to complain about tennis player Novak Djokovic being unable to play in the US Open because he was unvaccinated and at one point Kyrie Irving not being able to play at his team’s home games for the same reason. Through all the outrage, it was hard to make sense of the argument Maher and Rodgers were actually making. They didn’t go so far as to say that science can’t be trusted or corporations shouldn’t be able to set whichever policies they deem fit, so instead, it only served to try and validate conspiracy theories they wanted to make about the pandemic.
From yesterday’s show:
Hannity Lists Trump's Crimes as a DEFENSE of Trump
In an attempt to do a segment about how Democrats have over-investigated Donald Trump, Fox News propagandist Sean Hannity ran through a scroll of criminality allegedly committed by the former president over the years. He said during his monologue, “The Emoluments Clause investigation from the House Oversight Committee. A House Ways and Means investigation into Trump's taxes. Another House investigation into Trump's hotel lease. Another House investigation into foreign gift disclosures. A DC probe into Trump's inauguration fundraising. Another similar investigation from the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York and from New Jersey's attorney general. One impeachment investigation into a regular phone call with Ukraine. A second impeachment investigation into January 6th . . .” The segment completely backfired on Sean and instead served as a reminder of all the illegal things Trump has been accused of over the years and somehow managed to mostly get away with.
From yesterday’s show:
Rudy Giuliani DOESN'T REJECT 9/11 Conspiracies When Host Floats Them
Rudy Giuliani, who was Mayor of New York City during and in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, refused to debunk conspiracy theories about the tragedy when presented with them on a Real America’s Voice show hosted by “Dr. Gina.” Gina said, “you always see all the posts on social media on September 11th, and rightly so. We should absolutely remember and never forget. But I noticed but see the strong uptick and the number of folks asking about things that have traditionally been painted, conspiracy theories regarding September 11th.” Gina went on to make the case that she’s more sympathetic to them now that people like Giuliani and Trump have been targeted as well by factions of the federal government. Instead of knocking down this sentiment, Rudy said, “I find myself now saying things and realizing they're true, that if I had said them five years ago, I would have thought I was crazy.” This missed opportunity by Giuliani is just another example of how far “America’s Mayor” has fallen ever since he decided to hitch his wagon to Donald Trump.
