On Dr. Saphier's meandering answers about autism. They can be read as trying to give credence to the anti-vax stuff or it can be a true hesitation to provide a concreate answer when there is not actually a definitive answer. The problem is that since the source of autism is unknown, there is no way to actually definitively say that a given thing is not the cause. I would, thus, give her the benefit of the doubt based upon everything else she said. There is no verified evidence, but that should not be conflated with the statement that something is/not a factor/cause in it, unfortunately, that is where conspiracies like to live. There is a real answer and someday we will really know what the true causes are but until that time comes all we have are probabilities. So, based upon what I have heard from her I think she was trying to be clear and the Senator wanted definitive, so she changed how she responded to him to sound more definitive, maybe she should have started that way, I don't know. But it was nice to not hear just absolute crazy and insane statements coming from a potential leader in the government.
I just /love/ how dismissive he is of everyone who voted for him a second time. "If you don't like it, I won't do a damn thing about it." He does NOT give a flying f--k about people, only himself. Speaking of, where's Melania?
