Mike Pence Malfunctions at Cringe Town Hall
Mike Pence sat down for a cringeworthy town hall on CNN last night to promote his new book and to float the idea of a 2024 presidential candidacy. At one point, a woman named Andrea asked Pence a question, and he began his answer by addressing her as “Barbara.” When Andrea stepped in and corrected the former VP, he appeared dumbfounded, saying “nice to see you” and then gave an awkward five-second pause before going on with his answer. At another point during the event, CNN showed the images of gallows erected by Trump supporters at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Pence responded with his typical stoic hesitation and said, “it saddens me. But that day it angered me.” Pence is probably not going to be able to rally enough Republican support to win the party’s nomination in 2024, but seeing him on the debate stage against his former boss would certainly be entertaining.
Herschel Walker COMPLETELY INCOHERENT Vampire Rant
Herschel Walker went on a bizarre rant about vampires and werewolves at an event ahead of his December 6th runoff race against Raphael Warnock. Walker is known for his incoherent rants, but this one was especially over the top. Herschel told a story about how he was up late watching a movie wherein a werewolf killed a vampire. He said, “a werewolf can kill a vampire. Did you know that? I never knew that. So I didn’t want to be a vampire anymore, I wanted to be a werewolf.” As the rant went on for the next two minutes, it got even more unintelligible. The moral of the story had something to do with faith, which Herschel extended to the election process and the hope that he’ll be able to win his race next month. Ideally, the ending of this story will involve Democrats having 51 seats in the US Senate, as opposed to how this vampire/werewolf movie ended.

Trump Announcement Goes Bad QUICK, Fox News Cuts Away
Donald Trump’s presidential announcement speech on Tuesday was so boring and low-energy that even Fox News decided to cut away. Fox broadcasted the first half of the speech, but by the time Trump started rambling about former German Challecelor Angela Merkel, they decided to cut away. They chose to run the remainder of the speech without audio on a split screen. The other half of the screen featured politicians and pundits giving their reactions, including Mike Huckabee, Pete Hegseth, Jim Jordan, and Leo Terrell. It was already apparent the Murdoch family, who runs Fox News, would not be supporting Trump this time, and now we’re seeing that play out with Fox personalities being mostly ambivalent to the former president running again.

Trouble: ANOTHER Poll Shows Trump -8 to DeSantis
The polling continues to look bad for Donald Trump, despite the former president launching yet another run for the White House this week. Trump’s candidacy isn’t looking promising against either Ron DeSantis in the Republican primary, or Joe Biden in the general election. A selection of polls in Texas, Georgia, Florida, New Hampshire, and Iowa all have DeSantis ahead of Trump. A couple of national polls also have DeSantis ahead by as much as seven points among likely Republican voters. Looking at the possible 2024 general election matchup, Biden is up against Trump by three percentage points nationally. Trump’s electability has been a huge liability for Republicans as he has now damaged them in three elections in a row: 2018, 2020, and 2022. Perhaps in 2024, he will fail them once again.
