BREAKING: Russia Invades Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin has begun an invasion of Ukraine. This has been shaping up over the past few weeks, with Russia amassing 190,000 troops along the border. Putin then began creating a pretext for invasion, claiming areas of eastern Ukraine are now independent and that he needed to send in forces to the region for “peacekeeping operations.” Yesterday, the Russian president ordered troops into the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of eastern Ukraine. Western powers are already recognizing Putin’s actions as an invasion and are levying new sanctions against the country. It remains to be seen whether a full-scale incursion of Ukraine will be next, potentially even reaching the capital city of Kyiv. If Putin ultimately decides to do this, he could be emboldened to regain territory that the Soviet Union lost when it collapsed in 1991.
Tulsi So Unhinged on Russia, Even Hannity Has to Shut Her Down
Tulsi Gabbard, former Hawaii congresswoman and presidential candidate, went on Sean Hannity’s show and provided a take that was so pro-Russia that even the Fox host had to pump the brakes on what she was saying. Tulsi made the argument that Putin is protecting Russia by mobilizing his forces around the Ukrainian border. She said, “Putin has made very clear all along that their security in his mind is what’s at stake here.” Hannity, somehow acting as the voice of reason in this conversation, stepped in and said, “Putin also said Ukraine is not a country and he has been saying this going back many many years.” Over the weekend, Gabbard will be continuing her grift by speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando, Florida. Unfortunately, many progressives were tricked into believing that Gabbard is a voice fighting on their behalf, but between all these right-wing media appearances, the CPAC speaking gig, and this propagandistic take on the Russia-Ukraine crisis, it’s now clear that she never should have been trusted.

WOW: Trump & Children Will Have to Testify Under Oath
At the end of last week, a New York judge ruled that Donald Trump, along with two of his kids, Don Jr. and Ivanka, will have to testify under oath as part of the state’s investigation into alleged financial infractions by the Trump Organization. New York Attorney General Letitia James is looking into whether the Trumps would inflate the price of their assets to establish credit worthiness and deflate their assets when it was time to pay taxes. Of course, the Trumps will simply have the option of pleading the Fifth Amendment and not answering the questions. However, if this is the path they take, it will contradict Donald Trump’s previous statements about how pleading the fifth is “what the mob does” and how “it’s evidence of guilt.” Trump lashed out against James and the judge who made the ruling with one of his official statements. He said in part, “it is a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt in history — and remember, I can't get a fair hearing in New York because of the hatred of me by Judges and the judiciary. It is not possible!” Trump always tries to play the victim and he’ll likely have to keep doing it now with several investigations into his alleged wrongdoing heating up.

Deranged Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Hillary Spied on Trump White House
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is falsely asserting that Hillary Clinton spied on the Trump campaign and the Trump White House. The claim is based on a series of headlines based on a court filing by special counsel John Durham. Durham is doing an investigation into allegations that Trump was spied and the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation. What Durham actually found was that a lawyer linked to the Clinton campaign shared internet traffic data related to Trump-connected networks with the CIA. There is no evidence that the data was obtained illegally or that the opposition research continued once Trump became president. But that didn’t stop Marjorie Taylor Greene from telling a small crowd of supporters in Texas, “I mean, can you guys believe that here we are how many years later? This is 2022 and we’re still hearing the truth coming out about how the Hillary Clinton campaign spied on candidate Donald J. Trump. And then even further they hacked into the White House and spied on the President of the United States?” People like Rep. Greene are brazenly coming up with these allegations out of thin air and they’re not at all what is being argued by the Durham court filings.
