UFC Fighter Bryce Mitchell Delivers Delusional Right-Wing Rant
UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell went on a rant this week that conservatives have been raving about. Mitchell was asked about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and he started out by giving an acceptable answer. The UFC featherweight expressed that he doesn’t support sending American troops to eastern Europe, but that he doesn’t really know the full scope of what’s going on. Where Mitchell went awry is when he tried to project his ignorance about the subject matter onto other people, saying “I don’t think nobody knows what’s going on.” He went on to rant about supposed corruption between the Biden family and Ukrainian politicians, saying “you’ve got Hunter Biden and his son using our tax dollars, saying to the Ukrainian government, ‘if you don’t do this we’re taking your tax dollars.” Bryce clearly seemed confused about the right-wing talking points he was spewing, as shown by him mentioning Hunter Biden’s son and projecting what Donald Trump was impeached for onto Joe Biden. But this is all coming from someone who moments before said he didn’t know what he was talking about on this issue.
USA Will Ban Russian Oil, Gas Prices EXPLODE
The United States announced today it will ban the importation of Russian oil, and the European Union proclaimed it will reduce its Russian gas imports by two-thirds. This is the latest attempt by western powers to hold Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin accountable for their invasion of Ukraine. On top of this, Shell has announced that the company will no longer buy Russian oil or gas. The US currently imports only around 8% of its petroleum from Russia, however it will certainly be enough to further spike the price of energy consumption. The national average for a gallon of gasoline is already over four dollars now and it’s reasonable to expect the worst is yet to come. Many conservatives are viewing this as an opportunity not to blame Vladimir Putin, but to blame Joe Biden. The truth is that US presidents have very little control over the price of oil and gas. They can soften the blow by releasing more from the strategic petroleum reserve. However, these are global commodities that the American president is never directly connected to, and the right-wing critiques of Biden over this really don’t make any sense.

Trump AG: Election Lies Were "Bull$&!t," Lawyers Were "Clown Show"
Former US Attorney General William Barr is going public about his premature departure from office and his perspective on Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election. Barr sat down for an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt and said that he told Trump, “all this stuff was bullsh*t about election fraud.” Barr recounted that he told the then-president that, “the reason you are where you are is because you wheeled out a clown show of lawyers,” referring to folks like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell. Recognizing that Trump was upset with him, Barr said that he offered his resignation, which prompted Trump to bang on the desk and yell “accepted!” While it’s a positive that Barr was not complicit in Trump’s attempts to overturn the election, it’s important to remember that he protected his boss at every turn before that, including by whitewashing the Mueller report. Barr is speaking up about this story now because he’s trying to sell copies of his newly-released book.
From yesterday’s show:
Russia Bombs Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plants, Disaster Fears Explode
Last Thursday, Russia attacked and took over the biggest nuclear power plant not only in Ukraine, but in all of Europe. A fire spread at the training area of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power in an assault which the US Embassy in Ukraine called a “war crime.” Until the fire was put out, there was a major concern over a Chernobyl-like disaster resulting from the blaze. Radiation levels in the area remain normal so at least the worst possible outcome from this takeover has been avoided. However, the plant generates around 20% of the electricity in Ukraine and now it’s under Russian control and could significantly help Vladimir Putin in his war effort. The damage resulting in the takeover of the power plant is just one example of the devastation being left behind in this incursion. Regardless of how this conflict ends, it’s going to take years or even decades to rebuild the infrastructure of Ukraine.

The gas prices started to rise when Biden cut off the pipeline. It’s nothing new the oil companies and big pharma run this country. The only problem is it’s not oil going through the pipeline,it’s sand tar and it has to be heated and a chemical called toiuene which is highly corrosive is added to the sand tar. Another thing 40 % of the Canadian sand tar fields are owned by China. They have bought a lot of enterprises in the US and Canada, they bought out Kaiser Steel and all the cement companies in the southwest as well as the coal mine in New Mexico.
The whole time that Trump was wining and dining Putin and making nice with him, Putin was gleefully rubbing his hands together, thinking “this is going to be a piece of cake!”
Make no mistake: the blood is on Trump’s hands. He regarded (and still regards) himself as the most powerful leader (and person) in the world—“leading” the most powerful nation in the world. What a joke. This will be Trump's legacy, but nobody will be around to see it.
One can only hope that Mar a Logo is ground zero.
