OH NO: Jan 6 Rioters Met with Republicans, Trump Staff, WITH VIDEO
The January 6th commission in the House of Representatives is unveiling new details about the Capitol insurrection, and it turns out that some riot organizers were allegedly meeting with Republican lawmakers ahead of the big day. Two of the riot’s planners, who spoke with Rolling Stone under the condition of anonymity, disclosed information that implicates sitting members of Congress in the planning stages of the event. One organizer told the magazine, “I remember talking to probably close to a dozen other members at one point or another or their staffs.” This person specifically mentioned Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene. Other Republican members of Congress who were cited as being present in the conversations were Paul Gosar of Arizona, Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Mo Brooks of Alabama, Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina, Andy Biggs of Arizona, and Louie Gohmert of Texas. One of the organizers said that Rep. Gosar in particular assured the organizers that they would be granted a “blanket pardon” for their help on that day. “Our impression was that it was a done deal.” said one source. These are historic revelations about the January 6th riots. Expulsions from office and criminal charges should be on the table for the government officials who may have played a role in the attack on our nation’s Capitol.
Hero Student Reduces Madison Cawthorn to Stammering Mess
A Dartmouth College student and activist named Jack Cocchiarella attended an event featuring Madison Cawthorn where he confronted the North Carolina congressman about his assertions of election fraud. Cocchiarella asked Cawthorn: “when will you stop lying to your constituents, admit that Donald Trump lost, and end this senseless attack on our democracy?” The congressman became visibly angry and rattled off nonsense about ballot dropboxes, signature verification, and states allegedly violating their own constitutions. Cocchiarella then brought up the January 6th Capitol insurrection and claimed Cawthorn had a part in inciting it. Every single one of these Trump abettors should be facing this type of questioning whenever they appear in public. For Cawthorn, it’s not going to happen as often as it should because he spends most of his time in conservative strongholds. But these folks should know that at any moment they can be confronted with an exchange like this, and that’s exactly what they deserves for trying to undermine democracy in the United States.

WOW: Ted Cruz CRUSHED by Australian Chief Minister
Texas Senator Ted Cruz has been called out brutally by Michael Gunner, the Chief Minister for the Northern Territory of Australia. Cruz did his best to criticize vaccine mandates in northern Australia with public-facing workers being subject to a $5,000 fine if they don’t get at least their first shot by November 13th. The Texas senator posted to Twitter, “I love the Aussies. Their history of rugged independence is legendary; I’ve always said Australia is the Texas of the Pacific. The Covid tyranny of their current government is disgraceful & sad. Individual liberty matters. I stand with the people of #Australia.” This promoted Michael Gunner to respond to Cruz in a statement that read in part, “hey @tedcruz . . . nearly 70,000 Texans have tragically died from COVID. There have been zero deaths in the Territory. Did you know that? . . . We have been in lock down for just eight days in 18 months. Our businesses and schools are all open. Did you know that? We don’t need your lectures, thanks mate. You know nothing about us.” This was a brutal smackdown of Ted Cruz from an unlikely source, one that may leave Cruz booking a trip to Cancun so he can try to recover from it.

Humiliating Newsmax Takedown Attempt During Press Briefing
The right wing has recently been criticizing Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for going on paternity leave while there are shortages and supply chain issues. Buttigieg has taken time off to raise premature twins with his husband Chasten. This came to a head with Newsmax reporter Emerald Robinson, who asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki why Buttigieg won’t go back to work. Psaki began her answer by stressing that Buttigieg is working in a limited capacity and that she was on a conference call with him earlier that day. When pressed more on the topic, Psaki said, “listen, Emerald, I think what you’re getting at here is the question about whether men, parents, women should have paternity and maternity leave, and the answer is absolutely yes.” Robinson is not the only conservative pundit to criticize Pete Buttigieg for taking time off work to be with his newborn children. Fox News host Tucker Carlson also mocked the situation, saying that Buttigieg is “trying to figure out how to breastfeed. No word on how that went.” This is a new low for these commentators, but one that is no surprise given the right-wing takes on same-sex adoption and paid family leave.
