Former intelligence officer Ned Price warns that Vladimir Putin is using classic manipulation tactics on Donald Trump, leaving him echoing Kremlin positions instead of supporting Ukraine or U.S. allies. Putin flatters Trump by validating his false 2020 election claims, making him more receptive to concessions like keeping Crimea. Price says this is tradecraft, not admiration, exploiting Trump’s ego and naivete.
Mike Pence condemned Trump’s summit with Putin, emphasizing that Putin seeks control over Ukraine and will not respond to placation. Pence called for sanctions to cripple Russia’s economy and continued support for Ukraine and European allies. He stressed that Putin could end the violence immediately but is stalling for military advantage.
Fox News commentators, including Jesse Watters and Dana Perino, have fixated on Gavin Newsom’s redistricting plan and his social media trolling of Trump, calling his approach cringeworthy and ineffective. Supporters argue he draws attention and shows a willingness to fight, unlike many elected Democrats. Fox Business correspondent Lydia Hu inadvertently exposed Republican hypocrisy, highlighting that they criticize Democrats for tactics like gerrymandering that they themselves use to maintain power.
At the same time, Donald Trump is escalating attacks on democracy by pressuring states to follow his election directives, targeting mail-in voting, voting machines, and independent media. These moves threaten to disenfranchise vulnerable voters and silence critical reporting, while corporate media often downplays the danger.
On today’s bonus show:
The FBI raided former Trump National Security Adviser John Bolton’s Maryland home and D.C. office early this morning as part of a national security investigation into possible mishandling or leaks of classified documents.

He wants so badly to be like his pal Putin. Seems to be on the right track for it
Sure Putin 'handles' Trump with ego stroking, but when you watch more closely over the years, it looks REAL obvious that Putin has some hold over Trump. Likely blackmail. Trump was never loyal to this nation or anything other than himself. Trump never cared about laws, at all. Trump never had ethics or morals or honor or integrity, so at first it might not have even mattered to Trump, figuring it gave him an 'in' with Putin, the Dictator of a significant nation.
We need to stop giving Trump respect. Respecting the office means disrespecting Trump. Respecting the constitution and the law means holding Trump accountable for his crimes.
Respecting the Truth means declaring what is obvious. I do not need a document with scientific studies to back it up to make the assumption that the sun will rise tomorrow one more time. Neither do I need a full legal proof, verified in court with a full conviction, with all appeals confirming - to declare he is guilty of more crimes than just the ones determined so far by court judgements.
We KNOW who and what he is and calling him out for it, with all the evidence we do have, is far more fair and reasonable than the accusations Trump is constantly throwing around with no evidence at all. All the effort made to sound 'fair and balanced' is just letting Trump off the hook and making it sound like all the crimes he has done (even those proven in court) were just 'politically weaponized attacks on him' like he claimed all along.
