At the DOJ, Trump claimed critical media outlets are illegal and singled out progressive figures as enemies. He pushed false narratives about crime and suggested the death penalty for drug offenses. His speech reflected an increasingly authoritarian stance, aiming to criminalize opposition and consolidate power. This escalation poses a serious threat to press freedom and democracy.

Trump MELTS DOWN, declares Biden's pardons VOID

Trump falsely claimed Biden’s pardons are invalid because they were signed with an auto pen and without Biden’s knowledge. He declared them “null and void,” suggesting those pardoned could still face prosecution. However, legally, a president cannot unilaterally revoke a predecessor’s valid pardons, and auto-pen signatures have been upheld as legitimate.
