You are missing the essential nature of the Strategy. You accuse loudly, constantly, then, IF their innocence is proven and it gets noticed by people, you just accuse some more. Too many people apparently have no idea how evidence works, or courts for that matter. They do what Trump does and equate an accusation the same thing as a conviction, and consider both to be flexible and based on who yells louder. Did you ever notice how Trump reacted and talked about legal accusations against himself? Ever notice how Trump makes a habit of accusing people, declaring their guilt as though it was an established fact, with never a mention of evidence?
Trump KNOWS he is guilty and just assumes other people are guilty of crimes like he is, and if they are not, that is their problem, he will accuse them anyway if they are in his way.
The reality gets exposed only in the things people see with their own eyes. if it is a matter of different people saying different things, they will trust the person who does not require them to think or change their opinion on things. It is only PAIN that motivates them to change from their comfortable habit of not thinking.
