MY THOUGHTS 4.7.2026 ON OPPORTUNITIES IN OUR 250 YEARS OLD CONSTITUTIONAL CAPITALIST REPUBLIC

My dream in poverty stricken post war Finland at age 12 year 1963 were making it in America where big cars and homes and NYC and San Francisco were dreamlands.

It would take me another 12 years before I could visit 1975 and see my paradise but only visiting.

And 1983 at age 32 I migrated and 1996 became a citizen.

My take then and now is that a few men were willing to risk their lives and everything to be free from any despot ruling them which was the case in all other countries 250 years ago.

Their wisdom in drafting our constitution was to avoid a new dictator of any kind and even set the rules how to amend the very document they had drafted and signed.

We the people - did not include women and slaves - but created an environment where such needed changes could be made.

Federal power was limited to what specifically was written and if not written remained with the states.

Supreme Court appointed by the POTUS had to be approved by the Senate.

Census ruled how many seats in Congress each state would have.

Congress and Senate had to agree on law before POTUS signed into law.

Most brilliant the BILL OF RIGHTS which gave citizens rights that were practically impossible to take away from a Citizen unless the Constitution was amended.

Only Poland had attempted to do something similar back then.

While not perfect but better than any other country on earth as to freedom and individual rights still today.

Individuals pursuing happiness has made the US the leader of the world in innovation, power and wealth as capitalism inspires many to pursue and take risks in hope of own success.

Over 250 years - and in my life time of 40 years, I’ve seen good and bad leadership at every level from assemblyman or woman to Mayor or Governor - to all the powerful people in Washington DC.

Equality in front of the law does not always work as powerful and wealthy have more resources to defend of attack than the poor.

Racial discrimination still exists sadly but not to the institutional level it still did for my friehd B. B. King growing up in Memphis.

School Choice for every family for their kids will make it better.

An apprentice model for kids pursuing non Academic careers would help.

Availability of risk capital for small entrepreneurs would help.

The biggest risk to our nation is a rogue nation with nukes like North Korea or Iran but we have just seen Russia attacking Ukraine and getting push back but not using nukes because of US existence as a risk for retaliation.

Another risk is we humans not understanding that Precession of Equinoxes climate cycle will 2100 see Antarctic Ice melting from underneath repeating what happened 13,000 years ago and bound to affect us again and we are not preparing for a real climate change while wasting money on the fake one - but AI will soon in US get it and take actions against it.

Religions are once again used to fight each other and our constitution gave us separation not a perfect tool but no prayer should be enforced on anybody nor loud noises in public square.

To me the U.S. is still best of all options and guarantor no other nation or dictator controls the Earth or space.

Wealth accumulation creates jobs and through jobs taxes but it also creates power to influence our elections and we need always to elect a strong potus who cannot be influenced or bought.
