I subscribe to Aaron's Substack. He is very helpful in sharing the news. Most of what he posts are clips of political actor's actual words. That's why the felon is attacking him. I can’t imagine trying to find enough minutes in a day to watch the tremendous amount of news(good or bad) that shows up on my phone every day! Thank goodness for those who sift through and find noteworthy comments, photos, threads to share with me! 👍

Imagine if Trump and his complicit Republicans in Congress spent their time helping Americans rather than criming, lying, and attacking people on social media. We might have better and cheaper healthcare, groceries, and schools.

I'm reminded of the iconic Jack Nicolson remark from "A Few Good Men" - " You can't handle the truth." The truth is something they hide from and distort every day. Wikipedia defines it as: proportional representation (PR) is an electoral system in which subgroups of an electorate are reflected proportionally in the elected body.
That sounds easy to say, but what does it mean? The two key terms are proportional and representation. Proportional means that if a quantity exists in one place, a corresponding amount exists in another. If 30% of Americans vote for one party, that 30% should translate into seats in Congress. Representation refers to our representatives in Congress. So, proportional representation (PR) is an electoral system in which subgroups of an electorate are reflected proportionally in the elected body. If 30% of our citizens hold a position, can that position be reflected in the seats in Congress? About 94 countries use PR for national elections; we don’t. PR comes in many forms.
Another way to think about it: If I want a product to keep its proportions, then if I am making a cake for three people and I want to make a larger cake for ten people, I have to make sure I use the same proportions as I did in the smaller cake; the larger cake must have the same ratio of water to flour, etc.
