The White House won't like this recommendation
Instead of today's latest White House chaos, I wanted to highlight something I think you'll enjoy.
Hey everyone,
This post is going to be a little different.
Instead of unpacking whatever fresh insanity emerged from the White House, I wanted to take a minute to talk about someone many of you already know: my friend, fellow political commentator, and fellow White House "Media Offender," Brian Tyler Cohen.
Brian just released his new book, The Day After, and I think it’s worth your attention.
I had Brian on the show this week to discuss it, and what I appreciated is that it isn’t just another book about Donald Trump. It’s really about what comes next: how Democrats can win power, use it effectively, and deliver meaningful results rather than settling for symbolic victories. He discusses a lot of the frustrations I know many of you share about the strongly worded letter Democratic Party we’ve come to know in recent years and what needs to happen to turn things in a better direction.
As many of you know, I also have a new book coming out soon, and I’ve been talking quite a bit about why preorders matter. They build momentum, signal demand to retailers, and help a book reach more readers.
Well, Brian’s book has officially moved beyond the preorder stage. This is release week, which is just as important. If you’ve been thinking about picking up The Day After, now is the perfect time. Purchases during release week can make a real difference in helping a book find a wider audience.
I’ve included a link below if you’d like to check it out.

I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating: independent creators succeed because audiences choose to support them. Whether it’s watching a show, subscribing to a newsletter, becoming a member, or picking up a book, those decisions make more of a difference than most people realize.
Thank you, as always, for supporting independent media and for helping creators like Brian and me continue doing this work.
I appreciate it.

Bravo David!! Btw, I think I saw an area needing editing in post here, on sub stack...

David, I so wish that you and Brian would issue your excellent books in Large Print (even just a small batch) from the get go. I’d buy it right then and there. Most of my “check-outs” from the Library are LP. Please! Let’s see who else agrees with me. Thank you both for telling the Truth, it is in short supply, today!
