Mush-mouthed Trump confused about words outside courtroom
A mush-mouther Donald Trump appeared outside the courtroom yesterday, offering a glimpse into his ongoing legal saga. His struggle to articulate thoughts, confusing "complicated" with "conflicted," revealed a reliance on catchphrases as linguistic crutches. Despite attempts by his lawyer to maintain composure, Trump's erratic statements, including complaints about lack of rest and frustration at being gagged, drew negative press attention. When asked why he didn't testify, Trump evaded the question, highlighting his attempt to seem defiant while never actually planning to testify in his own defense. As the proceedings near an end, Trump's complaints about courtroom temperature and his propensity to sleep during hearings further undermine his image a strong and secure leader.
Trump lawyer ARRESTED, SLAPS camera
Christina Bobb, a former lawyer for Donald Trump, finds herself at the center of a contentious legal saga. A heated exchange outside the courthouse underscores her recent arrest for alleged involvement in election interference in Arizona. The confrontation between Bobb and a news reporter captured her defiance, including swiping at the reporter's camera, demonstrating a disregard for press freedom and law and order. This incident unveils the Republican Party's inconsistent response, with many downplaying or ignoring Bobb's indictment, exposing a troubling hypocrisy within Trump's inner circle. Bobb's legal troubles, alongside Rudy Giuliani's recent indictment, signify an unraveling of efforts to subvert the democratic process. This episode highlights the need for accountability and skepticism toward claims of election integrity from individuals such as Christina Bobb who are currently being criminally charged with election fraud.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump lawyer Alina Habba HUMILIATED, pretends Trump might testify
The defense rested in Donald Trump's New York hush money case, with the defendant choosing not to take the stand, despite assertions made hours earlier by his former lawyer Alina Habba that he would testify. Habba's persistent claims of Trump's intention to testify clashed starkly with the abrupt announcement that he would not do so, moments before the defense concluded its case. This was a predictable choice by the defense team, as Trump has proven himself incapable of telling the truth, and would run the risk of looking uncredible or even perjuring himself. Additionally, Habba claimed that Trump is being attacked by his political opponents over this case without the ability to respond, even though he had a constitutional right to testify in his own defense, which he decided to forgo. Closing arguments in the case will commence next week, and then verdict watch will begin.
From yesterday’s show:
COLLAPSE: Trump social media company lost $327 million in Q1
Variety's recent report on Donald Trump's social media company reveals stark financial figures: a Q1 revenue of $770,000 and a net loss of $327 million. These numbers raise concerns about Truth Social’s viability, especially considering its significant market cap at IPO. The meager revenue, compared to even small-scale podcasts, underscores the company's questionable financial health. Moreover, the lack of valuable intellectual property or a substantial user base casts doubt on the company's inflated market valuation. The discrepancy between the market cap and the company's poor financial performance prompts suspicions of potential money laundering or a scheme to funnel funds to Trump. Despite initial claims that Trump's shares were locked up for six months, he could still likely leverage the shares for loans, suggesting the possibility of another shameless cash grab by Donald Trump.
