Trump's FIRST LIST of people he wants IMPRISONED
Donald Trump is paving the way for an authoritarian presidency, using his power for political revenge against opponents. By appointing loyalists like Pam Bondi and Kash Patel, he aims to manipulate the system to punish his critics. His rhetoric encourages followers to act on his behalf, as seen with the January 6th insurrection. This approach risks turning the presidency into a tool for silencing political foes and undermining democratic values.
MILLIONS about to feel the PAIN of Trump's victory
The next four years under Republican control with Trump as president are expected to bring swift and drastic policy changes. Cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and potentially Social Security could disproportionately harm red-state voters. Economic plans are likely to favor the wealthy with tax cuts while leaving working-class Americans behind. Republicans are also expected to escalate culture war battles, prompting calls for Democratic obstruction whenever possible to prevent further harm.
From yesterday’s show:
Morning Joe MELTS DOWN over Trump pilgrimage fiasco
Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski faced backlash after visiting Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, with critics calling it "access journalism" aimed at maintaining proximity to power. Viewers saw the move as hypocritical, given Morning Joe's past criticism of Trump as an authoritarian threat. Scarborough's defensive on-air response, where he appeared agitated and justified the visit as necessary for "context," only fueled audience frustration. Instead of normalizing Trump, the hosts should have acknowledged the danger he poses and been transparent about their intentions.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump planning made up "crisis" to justify "emergency powers"
Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to exploit or manufacture a crisis to justify seizing emergency powers, a tactic used by authoritarian leaders. Plans include deploying red-state National Guard units into blue states to enforce mass deportations, bypassing local authorities and creating chaos to justify further crackdowns. Historical parallels are drawn to leaders like Pinochet in Chile and Erdogan in Turkey, prompting calls for public vigilance and legal resistance.
