WTH....I admit, much escapes me at my age, but is the scotus MAKING laws and not just applying them? They aren't empowered for that. I thought.....Congress creates, senate approves blah blah blah....then scotus decides when laws broken and enforced?? I may be wrong, sorry.
Their usual job is to interpret the laws when those are in dispute. There are clear guidelines on how to do this. But this SCOTUS seems to be interpreting the laws according to their convenience.
