Tim Walz accepts nomination, JD Vance hanging by a thread
Tim Walz's acceptance speech for the Democratic vice presidential nomination stood out for its respectful tone and focus on policy, contrasting sharply with the aggressive rhetoric often associated with Donald Trump. Avoiding personal attacks and controversial debates, Walz delivered a succinct address that emphasized key priorities such as addressing Project 2025, protecting the middle class from cost increases, and supporting affordable healthcare and housing. He highlighted the benefits of a Harris-Walz administration, including tax cuts and efforts to tackle prescription drug prices. The speech concluded with an energetic call to action, urging continued focus and motivation as the election approaches, setting a positive tone for the final night of the convention, where Kamala Harris will accept the presidential nomination.
WOW: Disoriented Trump hides in glass box, audience SILENT
Donald Trump's recent event in Asheboro, North Carolina, showcased a disoriented Trump speaking from a bulletproof glass enclosure, with a notably subdued crowd, reflecting a decline in enthusiasm at his rallies. Trump was introduced by JD Vance, who said “they” tried to kill Trump, suggesting last month’s assassination attempt was a broad conspiracy against him despite only a lone Republican gunman being involved. His speech included bizarre moments, such as asking the audience if they wanted him to personally attack Barack Obama and making outlandish claims about the military becoming so appealing that he would want to join. He also incoherently discussed military equipment and ammunition, with Fox News attempting to reframe his disjointed remarks as strong political statements, highlighting a growing disconnect between Trump's rhetoric and reality.
From yesterday’s show:
DNC brutalizes Trump, Trump suffers panic attack
Night two of the Democratic National Convention featured a series of impactful speeches that sharply criticized Donald Trump and MAGA policies. The night was marked by powerful addresses from speakers like former Republican Ana Navarro, who delivered a strong rebuttal to claims of Kamala Harris being a communist, contrasting her with real communist dictators and emphasizing the importance of rejecting misleading narratives. Senator Tammy Duckworth, a veteran, directly confronted Trump’s record on military service and his anti-woman policies, highlighting the threat posed by Republicans to reproductive rights. Additionally, Doug Emhoff's speech was praised for its personable and gregarious tone, reinforcing Kamala Harris's strength and dedication despite detractors. The evening's speeches contributed to a broader narrative of confronting Trump’s leadership, with the former president reacting intensely on social media, posting numerous attacks and criticisms.
From yesterday’s show:
Michelle Obama CRUSHES TRUMP: He's seeking a "black job"
Michelle and Barack Obama delivered powerful speeches at the Democratic National Convention, with Michelle's remarks particularly resonating. Her speech, delivered late at night, skillfully blended humor, policy insights, and sharp criticism of Donald Trump, notably framing generational wealth as a form of affirmative action from which Trump has benefited. A standout moment was her line about Trump potentially seeking "one of those Black jobs," which drew significant reactions and highlighted disparities in how success and failure are perceived across different groups. Michelle also addressed concerns about Kamala Harris, urging supporters not to let doubts undermine their efforts to elect her, emphasizing the uphill battle ahead. Her delivery was widely praised for its clarity and effectiveness, setting a high bar for the rest of the convention, including Barack Obama's subsequent speech.

Bottom Line: Harris/Walz represent middle America, not corporate America. I truly believe that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The majority of Americans are not millionaires. And even wealthy celebrities hate Trump. And they are not afraid of speaking out.
