Trump deflated, low energy speech ahead of 2nd arrest
Donald Trump delivered two speeches over the weekend, one in Georgia and another in North Carolina. However, his speeches lacked energy and enthusiasm compared to his usual bombastic speaking style. Trump touched on various topics, including his recent federal indictment, but he largely appeared deflated and aimless. Some highlights from the speech include when Trump criticized Ron DeSantis and emphasized the importance of personality in politics. He also made peculiar references to “massive dumps” and described New England as having a liberal “taint.” The highest energy moment came when he addressed anti-transgender issues, receiving a standing ovation from a right-wing crowd that has become obsessed with them in recent years. This is the level of discourse we have grown to expect as the American right-wing continues to make a mockery of itself.
Trump indicted on 37 counts, facing 536 years in prison, lawyers quit
More details have emerged regarding the federal indictment of former President Donald Trump, which now includes a staggering 37 counts potentially carrying a sentence of 536 years in prison. However, it appears unlikely at this stage that Trump will serve any time behind bars. The indictment accuses Trump of sharing classified documents with unauthorized individuals subsequent to his departure from office. The case is supported by substantial evidence, including recorded conversations and the discovery of documents found in Trump's bathroom. These revelations underscore the gravity of the charges and raise concerns about the handling of sensitive information. Trump has been ordered to appear at a federal courthouse in Miami on Tuesday at 3 pm ET for processing and arraignment, mirroring a similar process he underwent in New York in April for the Stormy Daniels hush money payments case.

Trump AGAIN promises healthcare plan he already promised in 2016, 2017, and 2020
Donald Trump promised a new healthcare plan in a recent announcement, continuing a pattern of promising to release healthcare proposals but then not following through on them. In a video message, Trump claimed that if he returns to the White House, he will establish a special presidential commission to investigate the rise in chronic illnesses and make recommendations for children's healthcare. During Trump’s term as president, he failed to repeal and replace Obamacare because he couldn’t even get enough Republicans to go along with the idea. Then in 2020, during an interview with Chris Wallace, Trump promised that the release of his next healthcare plan was just two weeks away. The repetitive nature of Trump's false promises leads many to wonder if a healthcare plan will actually be soon released or if it’s something he doesn’t actually plan to follow through with.

Anti-woke in shambles: Gay marriage support highest in history
A recent Gallup study reveals that support for same-sex marriage in the United States has reached an all-time high of 71%, matching the highest recorded figure in history. This data indicates a consistent upward trend since 1996, with increasing support for progressive causes like same-sex marriage and transgender inclusion. The study highlights that support for these issues is lowest among Republicans and weekly churchgoers, while young adults, Democrats, and college-educated individuals show the highest levels of support. The findings suggest that the anti-woke agenda is losing ground, prompting the right-wing to potentially adopt more authoritarian tactics, rather than focusing on winning elections. This suggests that Republican presidential candidates like Ron DeSantis who are closley associated with the anti-woke movement, may struggle to appeal to the general public running on these cultural issues.
