Trump ADMITS he'll be a dictator on DAY ONE on Fox town hall
In a recent Fox News town hall hosted by Sean Hannity, Donald Trump faced questions about potential abuse of power and dictatorial tendencies. Hannity repeatedly pressed Trump on whether he planned to weaponize the Department of Justice or become a de facto political dictator, but Trump evaded a direct denial, suggesting he might do so on certain issues. Eventually, Trump admitted to having plans to abuse power on day one, leading to a panicked response from Hannity. The event also saw Trump attempting to appeal to Iowa voters by praising the state's representation and tradition, despite its lack of demographic and economic diversity compared to the nation overall. Trump's struggles extended to explaining past cognitive gaffes, where he claimed to be sarcastic when mistakenly referring to Barack Obama as the current president. Overall, what was meant to be a favorable platform for Trump turned into a confusing and disastrous town hall.
Fox Host: You weren't on Epstein's jet, right? RFK Jr: Yes I was
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s transition from a Democratic to an independent presidential candidate has led to a notable shift in coverage on Fox News. Initially garnering attention for his potential impact on Joe Biden's candidacy, RFK Jr. is now receiving reduced coverage as recent polls indicate that he may draw more votes from Trump than Biden. During a segment on Jesse Watters' show, RFK Jr. openly admitted to being on Jeffrey Epstein's jet twice in 1993, prompting questions about Watters' motivations in raising the Epstein connection. This episode underscored the media's changing focus based on the perceived advantages or disadvantages candidates may bring to different political figures, with a noticeable decrease in attention from right-wing media as RFK Jr.'s influence appeared more favorable to Biden and less so to Trump.
From yesterday’s show:
George Santos opposes gay marriage, is gay married
George Santos, a former House of Representatives member who faced expulsion, is again making headlines for a bizarre reason. A day before his removal, Santos, openly gay and in a same-sex marriage, garnered attention for criticizing gay marriage itself. Expressing a preference for civil unions, he argued against government involvement in the institution of marriage. The seeming contradiction in Santos opposing gay marriage while actively participating in one raises questions about the obvious inconsistency of his stance. Santos has ventured into the realm of personalized video greetings on Cameo, a platform where users can request messages from celebrities. However, our attempts to secure a message from Santos were unsuccessful, leaving his future Cameo ventures uncertain. The situation prompts speculation about Santos's next steps and the potential implications of his recent actions on his public image.
From yesterday’s show:
Republican: If Trump wins, he'll try to stay in power forever
In a recent interview, Republican Liz Cheney discussed her new book and her outspoken opposition to Donald Trump, acknowledging her courage despite facing backlash within her party. The conversation highlighted Cheney's concerns that a re-elected Trump might attempt to remain in power indefinitely, citing his past actions and lack of remorse for the January 6th Capitol attack. There are potential consequences of underestimating such attempts, stressing that failed efforts can still lead to civil unrest and embolden future leaders. The discussion also touched on Cheney's potential willingness to vote for Biden in a Trump-Biden election scenario, though she stopped short of explicitly stating her choice. Though an unlikely ally, progressives should accept help from diverse quarters in preventing what would be a serious threat to democracy – Trump securing another term.

My 35-yr-old step-son (who is very intelligent) mentioned that Biden will win the election, but all the hoopla that is gong on serves as a platform for everyone to carefully follow the details of what corruption is all about, and to become very aware of our nation and what we stand for. It took an insane madman to light a fire under us, to educate ourselves and to not take things for granted. We are all speaking up because we are (now) informed of the worst-case scenario. We are now united.
David, do you know anything about Matthew Ehret, the Canadian author? He has written several books about the "Deep State" and other Republican tropes, including a series of 4 books titled "The Clash of Two Americas V1-V4". I have a friend who claims Ehret's books are the "best books ever", and he keeps quoting excerpts from them. Do you have any insight as to the veracity of his ideas?
