Supreme Court rules against affirmative action
In a significant Supreme Court decision, affirmative action policies at colleges, specifically those of Harvard and the University of North Carolina, have been ruled unconstitutional. This ruling deals a major blow to decades-old efforts to enhance racial diversity in American universities, as the court's majority opinion argues that race-based considerations in admissions employ race negatively, perpetuate stereotypes, and lack clear endpoints. Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote the dissenting opinion, stating that the decision undermines progress and precedent. Opinions on the ruling are mixed, with some viewing it as premature and others arguing against race-based affirmative action as perpetuating discrimination. Many have viewed the change as inevitable and have suggested transitioning to alternative factors such as class or geography to address disadvantages. Colleges have been preparing for this shift, and now they will need to adjust accordingly based on the court’s ruling.
Trump demanded "my documents" back after lawyers told him he'd be indicted
A recent Rolling Stone article sheds light on the ongoing saga surrounding Donald Trump and his insistence on holding onto classified documents, even when his lawyers told him he was doing so under threat of indictment. Despite the impending legal trouble, Trump persistently wanted his documents and boxes back, seeking ways to acquire them from the federal government. Trump exhibited a disconnect from reality, insisting that the documents were his property, when in fact, they belonged to the government. He further expressed a belief that he would regain access to classified materials if he were to become president again in 2025. These revelations offer a glimpse into Trump's bottomless narcissism and his lack of understanding of how the government operates. Trump's defenders often dismiss his questionable statements as jokes or as proof of his knowledge, but his insistence on ownership of the documents exposes his genuine ignorance. It’s increasingly evident that Trump fails to grasp the reality of his situation and the severity of the charges against him.
From yesterday’s show:
Ron DeSantis' plan is so insane, even Fox host doesn't buy it
Ron DeSantis unveiled a plan on Fox News to cut government agencies which has garnered a lot of attention and skepticism. When asked if he would eliminate any government agencies, DeSantis responded by listing three entire departments: Commerce, Energy, and Education, along with the IRS. He asserted that by eliminating or reforming these agencies he could reduce the size and influence of the government while countering what he perceives as the encroachment of leftism and “woke ideology” in American institutions. DeSantis’s proposals are extreme, unrealistic, and reminiscent of unfulfilled promises made by politicians in the past. His plan seems to be more of a virtue signal than a practical agenda for his hypothetical presidency.
From yesterday’s show:
Biden crushes trickle down trash in major Bidenomics speech
President Joe Biden recently gave a speech where he criticized trickle-down economics in favor of “Bidenomics” while also outlining the positive economic outcomes observed during his presidency. Biden's economic plan aims to veer away from the failed policies of supply-side economics and instead prioritize the interests of the middle class. Biden has had some noteworthy economic achievements during his two-and-a-half years in office, including robust job creation, lower inflation rates, and notable advancements in sectors such as manufacturing and clean energy. The bipartisan infrastructure bill also was a significant milestone as was the Inflation Reduction Act and COVID stimulus bill. While there are certainly many external factors in the economy that are outside the president’s control, “Bidenomics” has so far been a successful and forward-thinking approach to economic challenges.

Following the AIDS crisis and the access to donated bodies of self declared gay men, the brain structures were deeply studied. That work now continues in living people with the use of MRI.
The researchers have identified some differences in the midline development of the homosexual brain that indicate more feminine sexual orientation .
I’m a rotten researcher. Because my memory looks like I have the brain of a flea.
But, I thought I would share this information.
Does anyone else think Pumpkinhead believes that he is in trouble for planning an attack on another country?
To me, he sounds like the ‘ownership’ of the documents is only relevant because they say HE wanted to make a mess.
In the audio that was recently released, he pointed out that THE MILITARY gave him the documents.
He is stupid, but sneaky.
