What needs to be solved is making it so that this can never happen again and that will mean equal justice under the law. If we lived in a fair and moral society, Donald Trump would’ve been in prison decades ago for his criminality but the rich are above the law. The irreversible damage it has done can not be measured merely by a hole in the ground. I really don't believe that the country will ever recover completely and most assuredly, things will never be the same as far as international respect and trust are concerned. I am a Canadian and do feel the loss of a friendship and a partnership unequal to any other in the world's history. I speak for a whole lot of Canadians who are truthfully afraid for our future as a sovereign nation with this creature at the helm of the US and I look forward to that big, beautiful obituary with great anticipation. My heart goes out to the good people of the United States who stand in solidarity with each other in the hope of a better world without djt and working toward returning your country to the free, democratic country it once was. I pray it is not too late for all of us.
