Health issue for anyone is something to be handled with some courtesy. Unfortunately with tRump he runs around talking about how he is the most fit and healthiest president in our history. tRump's fake big tough guy is annoying and a LIE.

Exactly. Lots of older people wear protective garments. It may feel embarrassing but isn't shameful. But it clashes with his nonsensical bragging.

It is a effeminate coward very nearly dead from Alzheimer's, not a masculine warrior. 😂

Yes, he and his administration are demanding guessing, suspicion....

I know we can't just ignore what's going on, but it sure would be pleasant to get a day or two where I didn't have to see or hear this ugly mf'r. As a guy with multiple sclerosis, I'm legit tired enough without his help. Mr President, please go the fuck away. Tyfyattm, you orange twat 🖕

This is indeed about the credibility gap that Trump and his administration have built themselves. I couldn’t care less whether Trump wears an adult diaper or not, that is a thing that has nothing to do with his mental acuity or ability to do the job. The problem lies in Trump insisting on maintaining an image of immaculate health when he is clearly lying. That, not the diaper, is the big problem.

We might not know exactly what is wrong with Deranged Don, but at least we can see he has serious mental and physical problems. I’m sure his doctors are pumping him full of every drug possible, and that can’t last for long. Satan will be calling his orange failson back down soon.

Couldn't happen soon enough to ONE PERSON WHO IS TRYING TO RUIN OUR COUNTRY!!

Nobody hates tRump as much as I do. That being said, I cannot understand what the big deal is about an 80 year old man wearing a "diaper". I work at a Veterans Home and many of our residents wear them and we call them briefs. Women have lots of options of things they can wear for bladder control. I don't think any of this should influence anyone's credibility. Let's focus on the real, actual, sh***y things he does. Pun intended

This is just one more thing that degrades Trump’s credibility. Do the veterans at your Veterans Home who wear incontinence protectors spend their days calling out everyone else around them for perceived weaknesses? No, they don’t. But Trump, who holds one of the most powerful offices in the world continually calls out anyone and everyone he disagrees with for perceived weaknesses while trying to sell his own image as an iron man with no problems. The wearing of “diapers” does not, in and of itself, impact his credibility, but his lying and non transparency about his health DOES impact his credibility greatly.

But trump has “shit control”. He’s been bowel incontinent since the Apprentice. It’s more likely an ostomy bag. I wrote a more detailed account further down.

Ya just more bullshit.

No pun intended.

In the absence of data, the mind will create a story, and given the brain's hard wiring for the negative (from 1,000s of years of survival), it's not going to create a Good story.

Credibility gap?Credibility is nonexistent with this sorry excuse for an administration. I trust what they spew forth about as much as I can throw Bloatus across the room.

Stop giving him this ridiculous attention. Writing, posting even negative, unnecessary stuff, is attention. And for Trump, he thrives on attention: good, bad, ugly, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you have just given him your time.

I think your framing is careful and the transparency critique is dead on. But this one makes me uncomfortable. A huge number of people his age use incontinence products and function just fine. No matter how thoughtfully it’s framed, it still feels a bit like mockery. I know David isn’t that kind of person, but it still lands weird for me. Likely because I know otherwise healthy older folks who use them, and I feel it’s ripe for mockery. I’m probably making too much of it.

Faye Dudley's avatar

You are. It isn’t the incontinence product that is the problem here. It is the Trump administration’s lack of transparency.

handledagain2's avatar

Lol. You don’t necessarily determine if I’m making too much of it, but I appreciate the two-cents.

Faye Dudley's avatar

You are the one who made the statement in a public forum. I just responded. Cry some more.

handledagain2's avatar

Wouldn’t have thought this would devolve into Reddit so quickly.

Faye Dudley's avatar

Whatever. You said something, I responded and now your feelings are hurt. Have a day.

handledagain2's avatar

The only shocking thing about your insults is that you were literate enough to get through the handbook of online clichés.

IMHO, the pre-exisiting credibility gap drives the speculation.

In my opinion you’re all off. To me it appears to be an ostomy bag. Colonoscopy to be exact. He has been bowel incontinent since the Apprentice. His stink got so obvious we could see the people around him in videos and photos were making faces and all but holding their noses. The only solution is to shut off the anus delivery of poop. Colonoscopies do exactly that. A tube connects his intestines to a heavy plastic bag hung outside the patient’s body. His belly is too big to place the bag in front of him; they placed it on his side. Every day the patient must empty his feces into the toilet. My mom had one for a decade. She emptied it herself until the day she died. We were amazed…so I think you should rightly be asking: who’s emptying trumps bag every day?!?!?!

Carole's avatar

Colonoscopies are diagnostic tests. COLOSTOMIES ARE SURGICALLY MADE EXITS for STOOL. It connects the bowel to the abdominal wall instead of the anus. Also, I’d call it a thick bag , not heavy…

cparrh@aol.com's avatar

You’re right. I was too involved to see my mistake. Colonoscopies are much more common than colostomy surgeries. Thank for correcting me!

Kate's avatar

It’s definitely a trust issue.
