The deal with Skydance/ Paramount now has the White House assigning a controller over CBS News turning the content pro-Trump. That something horrible that should be right up there with the Epstine scandal.

I agree. The flimsy excuse they put out there for cutting Colbert’s show. Trump is backed up in a corner of his own making. I don’t see the Epstein Trump files going away anytime soon. We should all be calling Congress and keeping the pressure on to release the files!

Trump is now taking a stand for Gaza is due to international pressure. Ukraine? Trump is Putins puppet. Who knows where he will go with that one.

The only thing more absurd than thinking everything is a conspiracy is to think there are no conspiracies.

Trump was part of the Conspiracy to sex traffic young girls. What more evidence is needed? Wait, oh yeah, Trump is the one blocking access to the rest of the evidence.

Trump owned Casinos, resorts in may countries, a large plane for smuggling people, a Modeling Agency / Escort service / Prostitution, beauty pageants including one of teens, where Trump was seen acting inappropriately, and an international one giving him excuses to travel the world and move in those circles. A track record of rape and Sexual abuse, Close friends with a KNOWN Sex trafficker... and now he is panicking to cover it all up.

Trump was part of the business, he may have even been the bigger part of it.

Let Trump PROVE his innocence, until then, call him out for what he is.

We have the massive evidence showing he had Means, Motive, Opportunity, Character and criminal record. We have freedom of speech, especially in the political arena. Trump can not even really claim reputational harm considering what courts have already confirmed he did. Let him sue for some ridiculous number of billions of dollars, let him face 'discovery'.

While it is up to courts to determine legal guilt, we are not so constrained. If you feel nervous about it just say 'allegedly', or 'People are saying', even 'Most people are saying'. Why should we be held to a higher standard than what Trump practices everyday 'punching down'?

We have more facts proving his guilt than most historians have about anybody in history.

Assume Trump had Epstein killed and the crime covered up. Trump does a lot of cover-ups.

Republican Politicians will take note when Trump's favorability gets to 30% and will start jumping when it gets to 20%. Even at 30%, they have enough to primary any given Republican in any given district, even in Senate races.

Roughly half a given party turns out for the general election and half of that for the primaries, so at 20% (assuming they are cultishly dedicated) they will start losing their power to force an incumbent to lose in the Primary.

Trump is still comfortable at 37%, but he is not comfortable with the trend for two reasons. One, this affects an issue his most radical base actually cares about. These are the people who are not so much blindly loyal, these are the conspiracy minded who 'think' and try to make sense of the world. While they are often not what we might call 'disciplined' thinkers, they are not adverse to doing the work of thinking, as opposed to your standard cult member who revels in their submission which allows them to stop thinking altogether.

The other reason is this scandal is proving very hard for him to shake. When you count the number of scandals that would have broken any prior president, that Trump has shaken off with various distractions and other techniques, the tenacity of this scandal is finally starting to follow the pattern of scandal that in times past created the news cycle of the "Fall of the Hero", where a person who had risen to the top is then cast down into the pit. Trump understands the media and news cycles. He knows the game. The media is all about the 'News' and what sells. They love a Hero, they even love a Villain, but Heroes are built to ascend to heights of perfection (such as Trump has built himself up to be) and once they are proven to have a tragic flaw, their public can turn on them.

Those who oppose Trump know him to be a villain, so all of this is very easy to accept, and does not change our perception of him one little bit. But for his followers, blinded by the media system they have been immersed in, Trump is nearly a god like figure, their flawed warrior, fighting for the 'Right'. Doing the dirty work they know needs to be done... But this scandal is about Trump hiding, blocking any attack upon those who are evil. Trump is not attacking the evil, he is protecting the evil. Sure, we knew this, but they are starting to see this and trump is stuck. Hide the evidence and be seen as protecting evil (which is why he is downplaying the 'importance' of this particular evil and trying to give them 'other' familiar evils such as Obama and Hillary), or release the evidence and show himself to be complicit, part of the evil.

So Trump is working the delays and trying to calm down the news cycle, slow role out 'sanitized' releases of the "Credible" files, until people get acclimatized to the idea of Trump and Epstein without hard evidence.

It might work, which is why we have to play by Trump's rules. Accuse and let him have to PROVE he is innocent. Stop playing like an ethical prosecutor, working by the rules of the court, because Trump never does. Trump is the one holding the keys to the evidence, so simply assume his most vile guilt, that Trump was part of the Sex trafficking business. He had the businesses and tools to act as a 'front', he is of the character where it is believable, he has a criminal record...

Stop giving Trump the benefit of the doubt, make him PROVE he is innocent.

Put up or shut up, Trump! You have no evidence of these crazy accusations because it doesn't exist - because they never happened! You're a joke and an 1d10t! (Figure out that last word, if you can.)

sadly, so far, Europe appears to be capitulating to trump. Ultimately, the Epstein scandal thing will blow over. Americans don’t care enough about the victims to really push back

Scotland can’t stand him. And this isn’t gonna blow over he’s a rapist and a paedophile. We’re not letting that go. He needs to pay for what he did to those girls.

I 100% agree. I just don’t have a lot of confidence that Americans will stand up for the victims. We are an inherently misogynistic country. Apparently so are 52% of white women. My mother was one of the worst misogynists I’ve ever run across

There’s lots of proof floating around. I took a screenshot of the rape lawsuit with Trump and Epstein‘s name on it. It’s for rape sexual abuse forceable touching assault battery sexual acts sexual misconduct. It even explains in it what he did tied her to the bed. She pleaded with him to stop. He slapped her in the face and said I will do what I want and if you tell anybody about this you and your family will be harmed just like Maria. She was also a virgin. There’s also a protection order dated June 20, 2016 and a sworn affidavit that she signed. There’s receipts with Trump’s name on it for massages and flight logs with his name.

Exactly! Let us just call it out and stop dancing around. There is MORE than enough evidence, keep dripping it out there.

Trump owned Casinos, resorts in may countries, a large plane for smuggling people, a Modeling Agency / Escort service / Prostitution, beauty pageants including one of teens, where Trump was seen acting inappropriately, and an international one giving him excuses to travel the world and move in those circles. Tell Trump he needs to PROVE his innocence. Only he has the power to do so. Until then he is known to be a guilty sex trafficker / pedophile.

Though I agree with 99% of the issues you report on and follow your book recommendations, I find the golf reference a stroke too far. Cheating at golf is as old as the game itself. I have employed the "nine and a half wedge" many times when my ball rolls into a divot or behind a tree. Kicking a ball for a better lie is acceptable amongst family and friends (and expected to move the game along).
