The fact Lincoln said this, I’ve repeated this for years, and not one person running for president has a clue what must be done to stop the unraveling of democracy, nor one reporter says “Gee, I should look into this,” the way Ronin Farrow looked into Harvey Weinstein, is what’s wrong with this country.
The true threat to our freedom is not a visible crisis at the ballot box, but a criminal enterprise inside the schoolhouse that has made itself impossible to get known.
If a train station fell on the heads of dozens of our citizens we’d know they did a shoddy job to keep more money for themselves. But we have millions of people thinking a person like Trump could lead a country and we don’t get that our schools are dysfunctional!
It’s because we don’t respect our teachers or understand education well enough to know when it’s MIA.
