MAGA NIGHTMARE: Trump indicted AGAIN, for trying to steal election
Former President Donald Trump has been indicted for a third time, this time on charges related to his attempts to overturn the 2020 election. The four-count, 45-page indictment accuses Trump of conspiring to defraud the United States by preventing Congress from certifying Joe Biden's victory and depriving voters of their right to a fair election. It's important to note that this indictment is specifically for actions Trump allegedly took while he was President. Special prosecutor Jack Smith emphasized that Trump's statements and speech were not the alleged crimes, but his efforts to disenfranchise voters were. Some on the right have falsely claimed that Trump is being indicted for his speech, but legal experts argue that his best defense may be to plead ignorance and insist he genuinely believed he had won the election. Despite the legal troubles, Trump remains a clear frontrunner in public opinion polls for the 2024 Republican primary, and his supporters show no signs of abandoning him. The case will be closely watched as it proceeds, along with other ongoing investigations and prosecutions over his alleged criminal wrongdoing.
Trump EXPLODES over 3rd indictment, says charges are NAZI
Former President Donald Trump responded to his third indictment by comparing the situation to Nazi Germany and claiming it was politically motivated to interfere with his potential 2024 presidential campaign. Trump put out a campaign statement along with a series of Truth Social posts about the news. He said in part, “This is nothing more than the latest corrupt chapter in the continued pathetic attempt by the Biden Crime Family and their weaponized Department of Justice to interfere with the 2024 Presidential Election, in which President Trump is the undisputed front runner, and leading by substantial margins. But why did they wait two and a half years to bring these fake charges, right in the middle of President Trump's winning campaign for 2024? Why was it announced the day after the big Crooked Joe Biden scandal broke out from the Halls of Congress?” Trump has taken his typical approach of claiming the true law-breaking is being done by President Biden and that his Justice Department is charging him to silence him and damage his campaign. Of course, there is no evidence of this, but these talking points will likely work on his base just as they did with his previous indictments.
From yesterday’s show:
The moment the Joe Biden bribery "scandal" fell apart on Fox News
House Republicans continue to investigate Joe Biden over an alleged bribery scheme, even though there is no evidence that the president did anything corrupt. The closed-door testimony of Devin Archer, a business associate of Hunter Biden, mainly centered on the “illusion of access” that Hunter allegedly created to impress potential business partners. However, there was no testimony or evidence indicating any criminal involvement by Joe Biden in these business dealings. Republicans' efforts to find a smoking gun against Biden have not yielded any concrete proof of wrongdoing. Despite claims of a potential bribery bombshell, no verifiable evidence has emerged to support these allegations. Republicans are in search of a crime despite there being no evidence of one taking place, and clearly, they are doing so to get payback for Donald Trump’s multiple impeachments and indictments.
From yesterday’s show:
Georgia Trump prosecutor: Charges are "ready to go"
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is gearing up to unveil charging decisions related to her investigation into the attempts by former President Donald Trump and his allies to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. Though the focus is not solely on charging Trump, the state charges hold particular significance as they cannot be nullified by presidential pardons. This could prove to be a major challenge for Trump, as while he could potentially charge himself over the federal charges he’s facing if he becomes president again, he’d still have to face the consequences in Georgia and New York if convicted. Willis's request for increased security suggests that significant developments are on the horizon and that he’s likely to be indicted. This would be the fourth set of indictments for Trump, with him previously being charged in New York over an alleged hush money payment, and federally over the classified documents scandal and his efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Donald Trump is Captain Queeg from "The Caine Mutiny." It stars Humphrey Bogart and an all-star cast. I urge everyone to order it. It is a perfect comparison. (It was made in the 1950s.)
