Republicans (sorry....Trumpists) blame a democratic conspiracy on the basis of attacks to Trump. Let's remember that election's results were scrutinized and verified under Trump's Presidency, and by administrators , at many levels, put or confirmed in office by Trump.

Just watched your show on FStv. Have been non paying watcher for a while. I paid for a year as I wanted to support you as you are bombarded by hate from Christofacists and the cult of x45.

I agree with what you tweeted. Only gun reform will stop the mowing down of children and adults.

This show as usual was great. The comedy noir of the people who cling to x45 is good fodder for me. I do hope you have the support you need to weather this storm.

Fascism has to be defeated

Thanks again. Keep up the good work.

Will somebody explain to me why Trump's indictment could help him win the next election (in laymen's terms thank you).

The indictment may make some of Trump's followers feel that he has been so wrongly accused that it will make them more sympathetic towards him. By being more sympathetic, they will be more likely to be vote for him. In essence making a martyr out of him.

Ruth,

This doesn't make sense. His followers will vote for him no matter what (regardless of what has happened since he left office). The indictment won't change anything. They already think he is innocent of all wrongdoing. He has always been their king. The same people who voted for him in 2020 will be the same people who vote for him in the next election. They already feel he has been wrongly accused and that the election was stolen. He is already a martyr. He isn't going to gain any NEW voters after this. His existing fans are convinced that he is the Messiah. I don't believe that his being arrested will change anything. But it WILL make him look even more like a horse's ass (to the rest of us sane voters).

What do you suggest? To let enable a criminal? You seem upset. Let's see how the courts do their due process. If you do the crime, you must do the time. As a child I understood this.

@Julie A Thompson Yes, they already feel he's a martyr. The indictment may make some hotheads more likely to become violent.

Republicans are rewriting the English Dictionnary. Three Democrat leaders risked to be expelled because they used loud speakers at a demonstration against gun "uncontrolled". These three people have been defined "insurrectionists". The people that attacked the Capitol on January 6th 2020 are called "tourists" .

I am sure that the so called "third world" is rejoycing. One thing that has frequently characterized "third world " countries is the dictator style of their leaders. In general, in these countries the dictator approach comes out after elections (or pseudo-elections). Now we are watching a dictator who seems allowed [at the least by the base (!) ] to be a candidate in a "democratic" Country. What that means ...we are creating the paradigm of a "fourth world" country (one notch below third world).

Did you understand what I was trying to say? Of course I want Trump to do some time. My question was "why will the indictment help him win the next election?" EVERYONE IS UPSET. I do believe the courts will convict him and I want him to be convicted. Where did you get the idea that I didn't want him to be convicted? Chill.
