He's never been one to let facts get in the way.

He will just blame in on Biden as he stands there pointing at nothing...

That’s not just Trump making excuses for the fact that things got screwed up. That’s a republican thing. They know that their base is full of really horrible people who are idiots so they just appeal to their hate and ignorance to excuse their screw ups.

When history’s worst businessperson becomes history’s worst president, failures and disasters are to be expected. Deranged Don is going full speed on the path to destruction.

More and more of his MAGATS will be turning against him and not because he’s a pervert, a criminal, a coward a liar, an insurrectionist, a thief but because things are gonna get more expensive for everybody and they’re gonna have to pay a lot more money to fuel up there big cast guzzling pickup trucks. They certainly will not turn against him for altruistic regions because these are hedonistic MAGATS that we’re talking about.

In his classic work on the psychology of military incompetence, Norman Dixon wrote that the #1 distinction between capable and inept commanders is their ability, or inability, to manage their own anxiety. Commanders with weak and fragile egos, such as Trump and Hegseth, are likely to react to uncontrolled anxiety in one of two ways. They panic, ordering a suicide attack or retreating from a key position. Or they become paralyzed, hunkering down in foxholes and failing to take advantage of tactical opportunities.

We are already seeing both from the Trump crew. TACO Trump has gone from throwing in the towel on Russian and Iranian oil exports (paralysis) to threatening to bomb Iran's energy infrastructure (panic).

In The Guns of August, Barbara Tuchman described how European powers sleep-walked into WWI. We are seeing some of that same playbook in Trump's multiple wars as they coalesce into political and economic calamity. In her other book The March of Folly, Tuchman all but predicted what is happening now when she wrote:

“Folly often does not spring from a great design, and its consequences are frequently a surprise. The folly lies in persistence – pursuit of a policy contrary to the self-interest of the constituency or state involved, despite the fact that a workable alternative course of action was known to exist.”

Remember Trump say he and he alone can fix it, and he knows more than the generals. Guys like this don’t get anyway because they don’t like the listen to other people. What keeps Trump going is Sean Hannity Fox News and CNN, carrying his water bottle!

Soooo just another day of the fanta menace and his clown car cabal flailing wildly about and pointing fingers at everyone but themselves. Remember this is a man who knows more about everything and anything than any person in history, until things start to sour. Then its bidens fault, its Obama fault, soon it will be crusty gnomes fault. Ffs im tired and sick of all the outrage and alarming trends being generated every damned day. C'mon big Mac do your job.

There's going to be a lot of ketchup on the walls in the White House.

This is what's meant when they say war is expensive. it's not just the cost of bullets and bombs. America's going to feel this for a decade.

We have accelerated the decline of the USA empire. Not sure at what point the cost of living and national debt renders USA bankrupt.

What intrigues me the most is why do other countries continue to buy our debt? Japan national debt is worse than ours and they hold over a trillion$$ of Treasure debt paying just a few percent in interest. All told foreigners hold over $9 trillion of US debt. Makes no sense.

We've been waiting--WAITING!!--for something he can't spin. Epstein would have done fine, but I guess if it has to be the economy and the war, we'll take it. I hate to see that occur because a LOT of people are going to get hurt now and in the future (whereas Epstein is essentially in the past, as he is dead). I suppose we should make ourselves comfortable with the economy tearing itself apart, and then put Trump in a corner in November, and then try to rehab the economy at our earliest opportunity. God help us if that isn't until early 2029!

It still amazes me that anyone thinks this guy in the White House can solve any problems or make their lives better. He does not care about you, or anyone else not named Donald. He's been a failure his entire life and now he is weak and cornered with no way out. And just a reminder he was not eligible to run for president due to his participation in the January 6th insurrection.

David, in LA, gas prices at the low end have been way higher than the national average, and it's disheartening to always hear oe see these average quotes, when we are paying closer to $6.00/gallon.

Yes and the solution is to shut down more refineries and import from the Hormuz bottleneck. CA is at war with itself. Interesting to see what collapses first Dem CA or Repub USA. Right now it is a horse race to the bottom.
