A federal agent in Minnesota was caught on video threatening a peaceful legal observer for speaking, saying, “If you raise your voice, I erase your voice.” The observer was doing something entirely legal, filming and documenting federal agents in public. That remark is not law enforcement, it is intimidation, and it cuts directly against the First Amendment.
At a Minneapolis town hall, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar was attacked when a man approached her and sprayed an unknown substance from a syringe. Authorities treated it as a criminal assault and arrested a 55-year-old suspect believed to be a Trump supporter based on public social media activity. Omar was not physically injured and continued the event. Instead of condemning the attack, Donald Trump suggested Omar staged it herself.
Trump’s Fox News interview in Iowa looked like defensive damage control as his agenda falters. He openly rejected democratic checks by saying he does not want or need guardrails. He tried to justify civilian killings with gun related claims that contradict his own pro-gun messaging. He blamed aides, attacked reporters, denied documented statements, and bragged about bailouts caused by his own policies.
That same tone carried into Trump’s Iowa rally. He insisted everything was “great” while the crowd reacted with visible skepticism. He falsely claimed prices were coming down, dismissed a heckler as a paid agitator without evidence, and boasted about restoring law and order while presiding over increasingly lawless enforcement.
Trump is now attacking gun ownership out of self-preservation, not principle. By saying people cannot just walk around with guns, he is trying to shift blame from federal agents to a civilian killed during an ICE operation. This reversal has enraged the NRA and MAGA activists because it contradicts the rhetoric he used to build their loyalty.
Even longtime allies like Glenn Beck are pushing back on the claim that Alex Pretti’s lawful gun possession justified his killing. Beck and others point to video evidence showing Pretti disarmed before the fatal shots. Conservative figures argue that treating legal gun ownership as grounds for lethal force undermines decades of Second Amendment advocacy.
As crises pile up across immigration, the economy, and foreign policy, Trump is struggling to contain the fallout. He insists publicly that everything is fine while praising Kristi Noem and expressing sympathy for Alex Pretti’s family. At the same time, aides appear to be on the chopping block. The contradictions, denials, and authoritarian language reveal a leader losing control of the narrative.
Finally, Rand Paul has emerged as a rare Republican willing to challenge the administration when the facts do not line up. He points out that the video contradicts claims that Pretti posed an imminent threat and correctly states that carrying a legally owned, holstered gun is not a crime.

The villains are running the show, the criminals are every Republican and Democrat who won't stop this madness.
The families of these two murder victims are not going to see justice whether it is in criminal court or civil court. Federal law-enforcement is above the law they call it immunity. They knew going in but they could legally murder people.
If we were a country of laws we would allow civil law-enforcement such as sheriffs, town constables and police departments to arrest anyone who breaks the law. To the best of my understanding local law enforcement is not allowed to arrest members of federal law-enforcement. They are not allowed to do their duty against federal law-enforcement such such as using deadly force against these thugs when they are threatening the life and limb of American citizens.
