Federal agents stormed Los Angeles’ MacArthur Park in full military gear, causing panic among residents and forcing children indoors. Without warning, they pushed out healthcare workers helping unhoused people at gunpoint. Mayor Karen Bass condemned the scene as an “armed occupation,” warning it resembled authoritarian overreach. A DHS official even suggested arresting her was “on the table,” showing blatant disregard for local leaders and civil rights.
Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt struggled to explain the missing Jeffrey Epstein client list. Originally promised as proof Trump would expose an elite pedophile ring, the DOJ and FBI now say no list exists. Leavitt’s claim that only “paperwork” was on the Attorney General’s desk only fueled MAGA supporters’ suspicions of a cover-up protecting Trump or his allies.
Meanwhile, Trump’s trade promises are falling apart. The boast of “90 trade deals in 90 days” has evaporated into vague “tailor-made” plans and repeated tariff delays. Leavitt defended the moves as tough negotiation tactics, but her answers sounded evasive. Meanwhile, American consumers face rising prices and uncertainty as Trump keeps pushing back deadlines, revealing chaos behind the scenes.
At a recent White House dinner, Trump appeared confused and rambling about Ukraine, trade, and aid. He awkwardly praised sending weapons to Ukraine—aid Congress already approved but Trump delayed. When asked about the stalled trade deals and tariff deadlines, he gave vague and contradictory answers, showing a lack of control.
Finally, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu handed Trump a letter nominating him for a Nobel Peace Prize. Trump accepted the flattery without question, oblivious to being played. Netanyahu used the gesture to secure Trump’s favor amid international criticism. This moment highlights Trump’s vulnerability to ego and how it influences U.S. foreign policy.
