Donald Trump, once an antiwar president, is now openly suggesting the U.S. might go to war with Venezuela to reclaim oil and resources. He frames it as taking back land and oil rights, ignoring that the U.S. already produces record amounts of oil. The real motive may be regime change against Nicolás Maduro, echoing past military conflicts.
Trump’s 9 p.m. national address was chaotic and unfocused. He blamed Joe Biden for problems he hasn’t solved, launched false claims about immigration, and touted a tariff-funded “warrior dividend.” The speech highlighted his lack of accomplishments and political weakness heading into the midterms.
In addition, the claims Trump made about the economy collapse under basic scrutiny. Trump said he inherited record inflation, lowered prices, cut drug costs by hundreds of percent, eliminated Social Security taxes, and secured $18 trillion from tariffs and foreign investment. None of these claims are true. Inflation had already fallen, drug prices cannot drop more than 100 percent, Social Security taxes weren’t eliminated, and the “trillions” are exaggerated promises.
This didn’t stop right-wing commentators from praising Trump’s speech. Sean Hannity said Biden couldn’t deliver it, Newt Gingrich compared it to Reagan, and Debra Lea called it calm and engaging. In reality, the speech was chaotic and unfocused while commentators spun it to bolster Trump’s image.
Meanwhile, Trump’s FBI is unraveling. Deputy Director Dan Bongino is leaving months into the job. Whether pushed out or leaving voluntarily, it shows the absurdity of placing a conspiracy podcaster in a national security role. Trump frames it as Bongino returning to podcasting, which would show a disregard for public service and institutional stability.
Kayleigh McEnany claims Trump is “the most popular president at this point in the 21st century,” citing a selective 43.7 percent RealClearPolitics average. In reality, Trump’s approval is historically low, disapproval is much higher, and RealClearPolitics averages are not a consistent measure of popularity.
Finally, Trump’s White House ballroom project continues to be a fiasco. Costs have doubled to $400 million, demolition proceeded without approvals, and the architect was fired for warning the plan was infeasible. Despite a lawsuit, Trump pushes forward, claiming donor funding and giving nonsensical explanations.
On today’s bonus show:

They call it the big lie but I call it the big storm of lies coming from the lie hole of Trump. These totally depraved Republicans comparing Trump to President Reagan is the kind of lying that should earn these MAGATS terminal mouth and rectal cancer.
Here are two major differences between Reagan and Trump.
1. Reagan granted amnesty to 2 1/2 million undocumented workers.
2. Reagan unabashedly called Russia the evil empire. Trump on the other hand gets down on his knees, using the American flag as a knee pillow and performs fellatio on Putin and he loves doing it.
Trump lies like people breath . He is obnoxious incoherent , demean , and delusional, his ignorance and stupidity knows no boundaries . He is a disgrace to the country and is the laughing stock of the world.
