With a Supreme Court bought and paid for all of the protection the Constitution guarantees the people of the United States is literally handed over to the most corrupt administration in our history. The blatantly obvious problem for the Republicans is that while they are ass-kissing the 1%, the freedoms they are destroying for the 99%, they are destroying for themselves.

Today, Governor Newsome finally said what I have been hoping for, "California pays alot of the federal governments bills, (so if FUCKUP TRUMP cuts off funds and grants) California will cut off the $80 billion dollars we send to Washington and we will take care of our own.

Red States will suffer because while California overpays, States like Texas get 70% of their funds from Washington.

Let's see if FUCKUP lives up to his weak-kneed character and TACO's once more(Trump Chickens Out Again).

I have posted this before, I'll post it again until I am sure it is being seen.

Back to the “We all die sometimes bill”. (AKA the Big Beautiful Bill) This is a terrible bill. There are two provisions in the bill that need to be challenged. Neither have anything to do with the budget.

Sec. 44125 prohibits Medicaid and CHIP funding for puberty blockers, gender-affirming hormone therapy, and gender-affirming surgeries for trans people.

Section 70302 of the budget reconciliation bill would severely restrict federal courts’ authority to hold government officials in contempt if they violate judicial orders.

I think both these issues could be dealt with any one senator using the Byrd Rule as a point of order to remove these from the bill.

See this article from Sheathed Sword for an explanation of the Byrd Rule.

This needs to be a call to action. You can call Senator Thune ( I did and I'm from Maine. When asked where I was from in South Dakota, I responded I am a citizen of the United States.) The point is to put noisy pressure in as many places and in as many way as you can. Your own Senators but also the Republicans who are - for whatever reason- might vote against this bill. Here's a list

Just In ! the New Pope Gives the "Finger" to Trump ! Love it !

Pope Leo XIV has helped sell out a stadium show in Chicago with a promised virtual appearance—scheduled for the SAME DAY as TUBBY'S major military parade / Birthday Extravaganza in Washington, D.C.

Within the first 15 minutes of ticket availability, more than 9,000 people requested seats for the Chicago gathering. By the end of the first day, that number had climbed to 20,000. As of Friday, the $5 tickets were completely sold out. The event will be streamed live online, although CatholicTV has not confirmed whether it will air the broadcast.

Why It Matters

Pope Leo's expected involvement in the Chicago event, which will be streamed online, will draw huge interest and will divide some attention away from the Trump-backed military parade the same day, the president's birthday.

The pope, in his first address to world diplomats, said the dignity of migrants had to be respected, potentially putting himself on a collision course with the Trump administration, which has stepped up enforcement of immigration law, arguing voters' concerns on the topic have long been ignored.
