Thanks David for this post. I love seeing Trump continue to fall in support for him. Trump being buddy buddy with Mamdani must be driving Republicans running in the mid-terms as they've been running on Socialism being bad for the country yet Trump likes Mamdani so much.

It all depends on what religion they actually practice. Christianity, like any very large religion, has lots of different versions and a very long history. Christianity has been used to justify genocide and torture and dehumanization of women and demonization of strong willed women.
None of those cruel practices were following the teachings of Jesus, who they held up as a shield, rather than as a teacher.
If the evangelical voters remember, or for the first time read, the actual teachings of Jesus and compare it to the actions and messages of the two candidates, I do believe they will come to a better choice than they have in the past.
I saw a meme on X about which past president you would want to sit next to. Mamdani will never be president, but I would have picked him. I am sure he has many things he would say only in private about his bizarre relationship with DJT. (It was X, so a lot of ppl chose Trump. After a long marriage to a narcissist, I know he would never shut up and would never let me get a word in and would twist it against me anyhow.)

Any person who thought Tulsi was a reasonable person, should remember she could no longer tolerate working for Trump. That her positive predictions about Trump were proven wrong. That Trump refused to listen to her reports or her advice. Tulsi appealed to a lot of 'moderates'. They should pay attention.
