Thank you, David. You are so right! Unfortunately Trump is reacting with his usual revenge and retribution so I'm really hoping something will come to light quickly to stop him. Any illegal actions of years ago will not be protected by the immunity granted Trump by the not so supreme court.

This also means that trump and the allies he has left will stage more red herrings, false flags to fill his base with more thirst for vengeance against who he tells them is their enemy. He is still just as dangerous even with the dementia, maybe more so because of it.

You forgot to mention that as soon as Congress voted to release the files and he signed the bill Bondi fabricated a new investigation to give cover for not releasing them. Will that excuse be bought because I don’t buy it. I see it as perfectly orchestrated plan when they knew the gig was up to feign his approval to release all the while knowing Bondi would declare her suddenly “new” investigation. Again the biggest joke and we’re supposed to buy it. 🤣

Trump rode the momentum of these "narratives" to fame and fortune over the past 10 years (or more). Now, he does not know what to do when the narratives fall apart. He does, as the saying goes, "double down" because he views retreat as weakness. He must've been tremendously annoyed by being called TACO--"Trump Always Chickens Out"--and decided to fight to the death. This just makes him look even more silly. As a truly wise president, Abraham Lincoln, once said: "You can't fool all of the people all of the time."

Trump is a con-man who created his stage persona, and got it elected. Because he is by nature a con-man, it is an illusion on top of his multitude of failings. When the illusion breaks, it will be hard for his followers to give him any credibility, though many will still support him simply as their 'tarnished' banner bearer.

For decades the core of MAGA was relegated to getting scraps from the Republican party, as being better than the open hostility from the Democrats. Finally Trump call them to come front and center in his coalition, no longer hidden in the dark. Talking about the racists, misogynists, 'Christian nationalists', homophobes, and generally people who are full of hate and greed. All told, his true core is probably about 20% of the population. People who even knowing exactly who and what Trump is would still follow him because together they have found power. Another 20% really wants to believe in their 'savior' because they have been taught Democrats are evil. A lot of these are similar to the 'true core' but not as rabid about it. More out of a desire to 'fit in'. These can eventually be peeled away. But the 'true core' is the rot at the center of this nation and will take real work to address, which we never really did after the civil war as a 'for instance'.

Epstein is not the only thing that powers MAGA, not by a long shot, but it is central to the identity they have created for Trump. Trump 'understands them'. Trump is 'a man of the people'.

Meanwhile they have built up a generic identity of Democrats as being perverts, pedophiles, liars and generally evil people who use the law to push their enemies down.

Reality: Trump is a billionaire who desires the company of other billionaires. He is a criminal, con-man, cheats at golf all the time, refused to pay contractors that worked for him, was best buddies with Epstein - the most famous pedophile of all, cheated on his three wives, raped many women, owned the biggest teen beauty pageant, and used his position to enter the dressing room at their pageant, while they were undressed. He is a reality TV star, con-man, did not write his own book, has no idea what is in the bible... Trump is so far removed from what his followers see in him that when the illusion breaks... Many will continue to follow him because out of his need for them, he empowers them to hate and hurt their enemies.

But for those followers that hated democrats because they were perverts and pedophiles, it will become obvious Trump was not just a customer, he was part of the organization. Follow the money. Follow the stories of the girls. A lot of the girls were models, Trump owned a modeling agency, Casinos, Resorts, a large plane...
