Mush-mouthed Trump publishes disturbing series of videos
Former President Donald Trump has launched a new vlog on his Truth Social platform, where he shares short videos discussing various subjects. Trump posted to his social media platform about this, writing, “I am pleased to inform you that, periodically, I will be doing Videos on TRUTH Social that will be discussing many subjects in many timeframes. You will be able to choose the Video and Policy that you like and may want to reply to on TRUTH Social. Enjoy!” So far, Trump’s videos have featured him discussing Joe Biden and his policies, including claims of corruption and incompetence. These videos often end abruptly, leading to speculation about their poor production process. The vlog also showcases Trump sending birthday wishes to individuals, resembling paid Cameo appearances. Its format raises questions about Trump's role in scripting and producing the content and provides a unique window into his communication strategy for his third presidential run.
BRUTAL: Vivek Ramaswamy called out for his lies to his face
2024 Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is experiencing a rise in the polls following a high-energy debate performance. However, he's grappling with a significant problem—he's made contradictory and often outrageous statements on various public policy issues. When confronted with his own quotes during interviews, Ramaswamy employs a range of tactics to deflect and evade addressing his past statements. These tactics include pivoting to unrelated topics, attacking interviewers or the media, using selective quoting to divert from the main point, and employing ambiguity to avoid directly answering questions. In a recent interview with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell, Ramaswamy was questioned about his claim that over 2 million people died due to transitioning to clean energy. He responds by shifting the focus to the reduction in climate disaster-related deaths over the past century, attributing the decrease to improved weather forecasting and access to fossil fuels. Ramaswamy's tactics highlight his efforts to sidestep accountability for his controversial statements and how he doesn’t really seem to stand for anything.
From yesterday’s show:
UH-OH: Trump ALREADY down 6 in post-debate poll
A recent poll from Emerson College shows that Donald Trump's decision to skip the recent Republican Party debate has resulted in a six-point drop in his support. The poll indicates that Trump's support has declined from 56% to 50% in the last week. While this change is significant, it's important to consider the average of recent polls, which shows Trump's support decreasing from close to 56% to just under 54%. Despite this decline, Trump still holds a commanding lead over other candidates like Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Mike Pence. There are various interpretations of the data – one being that Trump's skipping the debate may have prompted softer supporters to shift, revealing a core of stronger supporters. Alternatively, this could be a temporary fluctuation with more significant changes occurring as the primaries draw closer. The situation is further complicated by Trump's legal challenges and the nature of primary voting rules. While the decline might not be ideal for Trump, it's unclear whether participating in future debates would be beneficial for him, considering the potential risks of performing poorly.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump trial will be TWO YEARS SOONER than he wants, before election
Former President Donald Trump has encountered a significant setback as Judge Tanya Chutkan expedited the trial date for his federal charges centered around his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election. The trial has been scheduled for March 4, 2024 – a striking departure from the April 2026 date sought by Trump's legal team. This decision, pertaining to just one of Trump's four ongoing criminal trials, upends his strategy of leveraging his candidacy to delay legal proceedings through the invocation of constitutional privileges or strategic timing. The accelerated trial timeline raises questions about Trump's capacity to manage these legal battles while concurrently pursuing a potential 2024 presidential bid. Trump's campaign swiftly responded by criticizing the trial date, asserting it denies him a fair trial, highlighting the complex interplay between legal and political considerations. Clearly, the failed former president is enraged by the decision, but there doesn’t seem to be anything he can do about it.

HI David:
I watched your interview with a very reasonable right winger.......... You both sounded sane but missed the mark on two things:
1. Transgender assignment . You need to bring in a gynecologist to this issue as they somewhat routinely assign gender to new born. It is not God (although some doctors would like to see themselves as God) who made the mistake in some cases; it was the doctor.
2. Peaceful transition of power after an election. Al Gore put the nation ahead of his personal interests which put George W. into power even though Al Gore likely won. The consequence was the Iraqi war........... But the nation remained whole through the transition.
I'm a fan..........
David. I am subscribed and I send money monthly.... I watch you on my stupid television and I'd like to hear you comment on what seems more and more like threats of war and violence in the U.S.
Today in particular I've heard sabers rattling.
