What’s the difference? She never told the truth anyway

That's not the most pressing issue for me at this time. He lies like a rug... and that will likely continue whether he pays another flunkee to do it for him... or covers it himself.

Trump doesn't need a press secretary.

I'm sure he thinks he can do it himself, and better than anybody.

By all means, let him keep on talking.

He probably doesn’t need a press secretary and I think a press secretary could be a liability for him because the press secretary might slip and tell the truth. And the other thing is Trump spews out a lot of lies and craziness on truth social and X well he’s sitting on the toilet taking a shit or changing his diaper.

I for one won't care. I rely on my on-line newspeople, who tell the truth.

News people who tell the truth these days are becoming few and far between. Corporate news just by the fact that it is corporate is compromised

They always said they were the most transparent administration ever and we have seen through that bullshit over and over again. The Trump Regime has done nothing but keep the American people in the dark or just flat out lied.

I think it's obvious to the sane people in our country that the POS in the White House is only concerned about playing golf instead of making life better for all of us.

She could lie like no other

He craves the lights, the cameras and the shouted questions he deflects. The press should leave the Oval Office and stop chasing him on the lawn to deprive him of power and the center of attention.

Press secretary under Levitt was mainly a Trump propaganda circus. Democrats should have set up parallel briefing system that countered all the lies she put out. No lie should go unanswered.

Why would it matter? Whether it comes from Jennings, Vance, Rubio or (name off another sycophant)…a lie is still a lie.

Why have briefings at all anyway? It really is a waste of time and resources. Just post a memo that can be thrown away, and be done with it... At the very least remove legitimate media from these things and let the sycophants compliment each other with lies... they can even televise on FauxNews, but stop wasting honest American's time..

The entire Press Conference is a charade. I don't know why they even participate. And stop interviewing tRump. Completely worthless since he lies about everything. Tell me what significant facts or events are actually revealed in these "press conferences?" What do we learn?

Charles G Haacker's avatar

I hope we are learning how little time he has left.

I advocate that press boycott press briefings & news conferences, especially those with Trump. Deny him the attention he craves. He never says anything important. He lies, deflects, insults. If nobody shows up he'll freak! That would be good to see.

Is this really any different than in Trump 1.0, hucklebe was useless, and they essentially shut down the office of the press secretary.

Shades of the Stephanie Grisham era in Trump term one. Over one year, not one briefing.

At DOD, they don’t hold briefings at all.

There is little doubt not having a press secretary would benefit the Trump Regime as accountability and truth will never be the answer regardless. It is difficult to quietly live through the current takeover of our America.
