Deep dive? How about this? They cheated again but this time messed with computers. The racism and misogyny didn’t help.

America is not ready for a female president - we've seen it twice now. America is misogynistic.

America (i.e., Democrats) made its voice clear in 2019 when Harris ran for president and dropped out in December. Yet, nearly 5 years later, Dems put her up, on short notice, to run against a strong populist candidate, one who DOES engender excitement among his base and resonates with too many others on issues of economics, immigration, crime. Not that the convicted criminal has any strong understanding of any of these issues; he’s a con man, but a successful one. Better if Biden had dropped out of consideration in mid-to late 2023, giving someone else a chance to stir support among Dems—-something Harris has never done a great job of. Trump was up 3M votes in the 2024 campaign while Harris was down (compared with Biden) over 6M (SIX MILLION) votes!!! That’s a failure to inspire, which is on Harris and the Democratic establishment (and Biden to boot)

The election was bought and paid for by Mump aka Musk-Trump. Harris/Walz had 100 days to campaign. We believe President Biden could’ve beaten Trump. We supported President Biden, but switched to Harris/Walz wholeheartedly when Biden dropped out. 35% to 34% is not a landslide. Americans have been lied to for years by the media. Sanewashing Trump, all the free press for 40 years, Murdoch, Twatter, Facebook (hate it since 2015). Harris/Walz told the truth. Trump/Vance and all his oligarchy billionaire supporters and the SCROTUM6 want a facistic, theocratic autocracy to destroy America, democracy.

If you look at the polls when Biden dropped out, there's absolutely no chance he would have won. 0% chance. Harris made it much closer than Biden would have. He generated zero excitement among people under 30 and Harris at least closed the gap there.

David, three vital issues you did not include in your analysis of why Harris lost:

1. Voter suppression: see Greg Palaste's documentary "Vigilante, Inc." Voters had their registrations and votes disappear. The difference of 1.48 million votes, 225 000 or so across all the swing states can be chalked up to these lost votes. + admitted Russian interference again.

2. Biden's "baggage?" Biden passed more helpful legislation than many past president's, helped us recover, medically and econically, after COVID destroyed worldwide trade. He would have signed the massive, bipartisan immigration bill into law, but Trump selfishly blocked it!

3. Brainwashed millions - and media sanewashing. The uninformed, late to decide voters ignored Trump's clear lies (such as bringing down grocery prices, tarrifs bring prosperity, I'm chosen by God to lead you, etc.) He convinced rubes from various uninformed communities that he is a competent business man and leader who intends to help them.

Long/short, if not for dirty tricks and manipulation, we wouldn't be facing complete destruction of our society and economy now. Stop blaming us Dems!!!

David....there is enough proof out there that he didnt! In fact, on my wall, I posted a post from a reddit person who is from Arizona and posted a very long article on the bs that was found that happened in the Arizona vote! It's majorly fraudulent. Wisconsin is another one that posted information. I have posted a 63 page redacted article about Putin breaking into our systems, etc. There is a ton of stuff out there now. HE DID NOT WIN. Tons of states has it that he won but down the ballot, dems won! CHeck out what a bullet ballot is! In 7 swing states the % of bullet ballots is as high as 7.7% wherein a normal state is less than a 10th of 1 percent! If you belong to reddit. com check out posts from somethingiswrong2024 !!!! That's where you will see a lot of proof! Also, a professional hacker by the name of Stephen Spoonamore found a ton of things that was done & sent letters to Governor Shapiro, etal, in this regard. Kamala was sent a 5 page letter in regard to what he found also.

What should not be downplayed is the role that misinformation played. As evidenced by the amount of voter remorse, many people were lied to and had faulty messaging with which to make their decisions with. You can argue that Trump has been lying constantly for decades, but that doesn't excuse the unchecked continuance of that lying. Also, there appears to be a campaign of voter suppression that is impacting key states. That likely impacted the most recent election and will continue to impact further elections. This needs to be taken seriously. Together, I think that these 2 factors outweigh the other issues.

I disagree that Kamala lacked a clear vision going forward. She had pages of detailed plans that were clearly articulated at every interview. (Far more substantive than the rival.) Rather, the corporate media was so skewed in their reporting. They didn’t give Kamala half the attention she deserved. All the while, they were amplifying the hateful rhetoric of the former president. Corporate media was also “sane-splaining” much of what the former president was doing and saying. This did not help the other factors you point out about “failings” of Kamala’s campaign.!!!!

VP Harris just didn’t have enough time to frame a campaign messaging. Biden’s Reelection campaign ultimately botched everything.

No deep dive needed, 10 million voters will not vote for Trump and will not vote for a woman. It is litterly that simple. This is twidce we got stuck with the worst possible person the Reich could find and now we have to deal with this train wreck until we replace him or he dies. If he dies we have ot then deal with JD Vance who is just as bad and will do whatever Putin tells him to do. We did this to ourselfs by not realizing that while we are not racist and masogynist most of the country is and not seeing that we all pay the price.

I'm sorry David, but on this one I think you missed the mark. You said we were not making it clear about the economy, border, etc. How many times did Kamala say she knew how hard things had been for us? How expensive things were? And how many solutions did she tell us about... money toward a new home, going after price gougers, child tax credit, etc. I truthfully think you're missing something here. Mainly, a whole faction of our country has become angrier, nastier, mean-spirited, uncaring, unkind, has no compassion, sympathy, empathy. There is absolutely a commonality between Trump supporters. I'd never been attacked so badly online by people before Trump came along. I haven't heard this kind of racism and sexism since I fought for equal rights in the 60's and 70's. I haven't seen this kind of blatant disregard for our fellow human beings in a very long time.... except... by those on the right. These people were always like this, but I believe they were in the closet until Trump boldly displayed all the worst traits a person could have... loudly and proudly... and those folks suddenly felt like the mother ship was there to take them home! I saw a horrible metamorphosis happening right before my eyes with my own family members. Suddenly one family member, who had only grumbled his comments before, coming right out and saying the quiet parts out loud. He was followed by more family members who not only disagreed with me and others, but became so outraged, red in the face, up in your face, yelling, swearing, and it actually became scary. My mother then put a stop to all talk of politics when we were all together. One family member suddenly started buying guns... lots of guns. Another was spouting Qanon crap... "The Illuminati is running the government," kind of stuff. Online forums were worse. When Trump was only president for one year, men in certain Facebook groups were talking about how they were organizing, training, and were "not afraid to use violence." I reported them to the FBI... but nothing happened to those people or those groups, and then Jan 6th happened. I don't believe it's all Trump. I think people's true nature was smouldering just below the surface and that light refused to go out. Trump only added the spark that started the fire burning, and then raging. But I don't believe it's anything Democrats have or haven't done. I think it's a matter of some people who are naive, some uneducated (and I don't mean academically, I mean refusing to educate themselves), some outright nasty/argumentative/cold/hard to get along with kind of people, and those traits have spread. How do we change that? Parenting maybe? Education, certainly... teaching children empathy toward marginalized people or minorities.... oh wait! Hasn't the Right banned those kinds of books? Haven't they given it a dirty word to scare people off.... "Woke?" We are screwed. But it's not anything Kamala or any other Democrat is doing wrong. It's what we've been doing wrong through the ages and having nothing to do with politics.

Addressing the issue of 'Swing voters' who are the deciding votes:

People chose to believe what they want to believe, to rationalize their biases.

Biases: Racism, Misogyny, Fear of immigrants, Culture wars - Homophobia, Trans

So they chose to believe Trump's lies and the chose to not believe his promises.

They chose to ignore his crimes, they chose to forget his insurrection, they chose to ignore his countless lies as evidence that he can not be trusted in anything he says.

Reality does not care what they want to believe, and I hope enough consequences get through to them (despite the best efforts of Democrats and a small number of Republicans) that they can learn and grow from their mistake.

Democrats need to learn that old white guys win the Presidency MUCH more often, that they need to speak to swing voters like they are children.

Minorities, Women, LGBTQ need to live on vague promises and non-flashy help, just like White Supremacists did for so many decades, in order to get THEIR people in charge. Stop demanding overt, open pandering, making the election all about them or they won't vote... Democrats KNOW who their base is, but if they want to win elections they need to get others to vote for them as well and lots of those 'others' have biases against much of the democratic base.

Swing voters do NOT want to think, they do NOT want to study, they do NOT want to use their memory... they react, and we need to acknowledge who they are and how to reach them, because Trump clearly did.

You lost me today,David. No clear vision? WTF? I heard it many times but there was so much emphasis on no stance when it was constantly in front of us. How much did voter suppression factor in? Georgia for example is always thinning out the registered voters. Too much of mainstream media sanewashing trump. And then there is the stupid people factor. I know many of them. They vote R because their parents did. They don’t follow any of it. But they vote
