Trump doesn't give a crap what the courts say unless the decision goes his way. His Cabinet is the same way.

Why in a country “the richest” would we need to do a food drive for American citizens?

We are only the richest because we have credit cards and every form of debt on the planet to include printing rightts to the US dollar. If all those debts came due, we would be the poorest country on the planet. Ask any student with a student loan, how rich they feel?

#Nick sez the #DEMs are at a measurable disadvantage RE: Redistricting. Do any states wish to share power with the DEMs? For example, Missouri was a 50/50 State at one time.

Seattle. Not sure food banks can do the job. Only 1 in 10 get their food that way. Hope I an wrong about what is possible here. It would be nice if that could work. God bless all who are helping. I doubt the GOP leadership will stop this corruption.

Donald Trump is a communist!

Very likely just a "wannabe" communist. Certainly he seems to adore Putin and craves his attention if not also his approval. But I am uncertain whether or not he even understands the concept. For sure he hasn't even the vaguest notion of what a democracy is (other than that it is something he must destroy that is).

Sorry to bust the bubble, but supporting Mandami is a Republican dream come true. It confirms their big lie that Dems want socialism for the USA. The true political meaning of socialism is "lots of free stuff". Take from one group to give to another group so do they do not have to work. Not saying the Repugs are any better, they hide behind capitalism that essentially does the same thing. It also enriches one group at the expense of others...called inflation.

At a time when Dems need to shore up the sinking boat, they support a guy with Ugandan Indian Muslim heritage for mayor who is Mr Socialism. Have you lost your ever-loving minds? I live in the Seattle area and they have the same rotten mindset here. That US taxpaying citizens are no longer worthy. They have had it too good for too long and owe it to the less fortunate to have it all as well regardless of the cost or consequences.

Different candidates work in different places. Zohran is clearly a candidate resonating with the NYC electorate. That doesn’t mean Dems should or would run someone like him in Arizona or North Carolina.

I don’t agree with Zohran on every policy but I sure can appreciate the campaign he’s running and his people-first focus on affordability. There’s a lot Dems need to learn from him.

Campaigns based on the issues of the heart are fraudulent without the means to pay for those promises. Promising "affordable" housing in one of the most expensive cities in the world is criminal. To do that, Democrat NYC has essentially stolen a lot of the housing stock under the guise of "rent control". This is a violation of the 5th Amendment....

The Takings Clause of the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution is a crucial provision that ensures that private property cannot be taken for public use without just compensation. So NYC gets around that by not taking the property, they just set the rents and prevent it from being sold. Yet expect the landlords to pay the appreciated property taxes and eat the repairs. That is legal theft. Next when cars become too expensive NYC can just set the prices for new cars.

Politicians have played the promises game since day one. When asked how they plan to pay for it, the answers are vague or they just point to those with resources need to "share" it.

All Americans should be shocked at a president that would starve his own people. How does he still have supporters…kool-aid drinkers I suppose 🤬

Thank you for the donation to the needy people. Our media here in Australia reported on the fact that Trump is withholding the SNAP money while at the same time having this debased party they showed the near naked dancers etc. Trump is making sure that leaders and average people around the world detest this vulgar man and his administration for using this cruel act of starvation of the American citizens as a political weapon.

I look forward to seeing and hearing your show today, David. Thank you for this preview.

I found one of the comments left on this issue of your substack very very disconcerting. It was left by someone identifying only as "Russ". Perhaps it is because I am not American and don't live in the States that I am at a loss as where to begin to address what appear to me to be misunderstandings of reality. I hope that you, or someone else on this substack, will clear things up for him? Or, alternatively, will provide evidence for his claims, if they are correct and I am the one who is not understanding your current world.

Thanks again. STAY STRONG but STAY SAFE as well. 🎉

P.S. I just noticed that there are, at this writing, two posts by "Russ". The one that I am having difficulty with is the one in which he mis-spells Mr Mamdani's name and talks about "busting a bubble" (instead of "bursting a bubble"). Thanks again.
