There is a huge crisis of trust in the United States and for the United States and is mostly because of Trump but it goes beyond that. Trump still has a support of people who I would like to see thrown into a meat grinder and fed to swine.
Other nations look at the US and long after Trump is gone and his putrid body is thrown into a landfill, the world is not gonna forget this and they’re going to start thinking, “what the fuck is wrong with Americans“? American needs some deep self examination. When Obama’s Minister Reverend Jeremiah Wright said, “God damn America. God damn America”? He was telling the truth.
I really don't think most Americans have the sense of being THE globe's super power, for sure, not anymore. At one point......oh....anytime before 10 years ago, the world, may have, even if begrudgingly, thought of us as just that. That is no longer up for debate.

Trump has to overcompensate for his tiny dick somehow. He has damaged us at least for the foreseeable future. Will we ever regain the respect and leadership we once had? Maybe, but broken trust is very difficult, if not impossible, to fix. To rebuild that trust, we will have to work our way back up. Although I hate trump for what he is doing to us, I think we needed to be knocked down to size as we have gotten far too arrogant and self-important.
So true; it didn't take him long to destroy our global standing.

You’re right. There is something wrong with Americans who choose to vote for Trump. He's only kept his word on his Pardons and Project 2025.
But it could take decades to repair that standing, if at all.
