Donald Trump says Republicans will deploy a much larger “Election Integrity Army” across the country during the 2026 midterms after using similar efforts in 2024. Republicans are shifting away from persuading voters on issues like inflation, housing, and gas prices and toward creating distrust around elections and polling places.
Donald Trump and his administration repeatedly claim the Iran conflict is ending or already over even as the war continues into its eleventh week. The repeated declarations of victory clash with ongoing additional strikes and constantly shifting timelines about when the conflict will actually end.
Sebastian Gorka responded to questions about the expanding Iran conflict by arguing the U.S. military’s success actually explains why the war continues. This is the latest example of Trump allies reframing every setback, including inflation, gas prices, and war delays, as proof of success.
Trump economic adviser Kevin Hassett predicted oil prices will quickly fall and says GDP growth could exceed 6% despite earlier administration predictions missing badly when growth reached only 2%. Hassett went on to blame Democratic states for weak national growth and falsely claimed most jobs created under Joe Biden went to undocumented immigrants.
Donald Trump appeared on “Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson” and sounded confused as he jumped between unrelated topics. Examples include falsely claiming television viewers pay one thousand dollars per NFL game and forgetting details about his own proposed Fort Knox gold audit.
