I challenge your comment that Trump is 'resilient'.
He's double-downed on his hate spin, his incoherence has gone off the charts, his crimes are set in stone, his fascist tactics of suppressing and rigging the vote rife, the danger he poses to our National Security corroborated by over 700 former National Security officials, and his unfitness for dogcatcher--let alone president--obvious to five year-olds.
So, no, the fact that Harris doesn't lead him by 10 points in the swing states ain't due to his 'resilience'.
Look no further than the 'electorate'. Something is amiss, like ignorance of the man, the issues, guttural indifference, resentment, bitterness to others, to the deal we got cut, and clueless to the footnotes of how in hell we got to this mess, is why we are as gullible as sheep and prone to believe slick spin that hits us in our ill-informed guts.
I'm a long time lefty, writer and activist... To keep this short and to the point I have a great slogan for the Harris campaign.....Trouble is I can't find away to get it to anyone in the campaign to decide to look at it.. I am today and tomorrow going to try and get a few dozen Tee shirts printed and maybe a few dozen posters that could be used in campaign events...The signs would make a great backdrop as well as great lawn signs......Any advise or assistance would be greatly appreciated ...
Hopefully the polls are wrong and Harris will do better than expected. But I fear this is going to be a repeat of 2016...she'll win the popular vote but Trump will win the electoral. His Red state cronies are doing everything in their power (just look at Nebraska) to ensure his win. Say goodbye to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid. Say goodbye to civil servants who are non-partisan in favor of Trump loyalists. Say goodbye to democracy and the Constitution. No need for the states to vote to abolish it since the GOP will see to it that it gets shredded. No more standing in lines to vote because THAT will be a thing of the past!!

I have not read your entire column but I’m left scratching my head!! Who are these people who will vote for Trump?? In MAGA interviews-on-the-street does any intelligence show through? NO!! Do they think for themselves? Hardly! They are caught up in the celebrity/cult status of a has-been who really thinks of himself as a stand-up—and he is. A real jokester who says anything to get a rise out of the crowd. He presents as totally vapid and his words are insulting for any cognizant being listening. I've been watching Ayman on MSNBC and I'm realizing I'm tired of the media treating men like they're toddlers. Men need to grow a pair and stop hurting women. WTF is going on these days that men are in thrall with a total misogynist like Trump? Enough already.
