They will short circuit a large portion of their support either actual or potential if the uninformed voters who are legion in this country come to the belief they lost their health insurance because of the Democrats - all because of the genius of the Republican parties timing the cuts to coincide with the new year and the new Congress

Currently any person or group of people can setup PACs to publish ads to target a group or political candidate.
It is currently the responsibiliy of each reader and listener to ignore, down value or bit bucket these PAC ads or propaganda souces.
It is currently a personal option of a candidate to not form PACs or accept PAC money when allowed, or approve PAC ads when allowed.
(My opinion) The United States goverment needs to reform viable guidelines for PACs and have watch dogs to ensure they are being followed.
For example, no person in goverment power or business power above a person should be allowed to demand contributions to a PAC or fund via direct or veiled threats or promises of harm to individuals or businesses.
