Reading this felt like watching someone finally say what too many are still tiptoeing around:

This isn’t a malfunction. It’s a blueprint.

I worked inside the system for over 20 years. And one of the hardest pills to swallow is realizing that the chaos isn’t accidental….it’s functional. It confuses. It delays. It distracts. And in that confusion, power consolidates.

What Trump mastered was was spectacle with teeth.

He taught a generation of bad actors from politicians to tech billionaires how to dominate the attention economy while gutting the institutions behind the scenes. And now folks like Elon are watching the playbook in real time, tweaking it, rebranding it, making it shinier for the next act.

You said it plainly David, Elon isn’t just trolling. He’s testing resonance.

Aligning with the energy of MAGA without embracing the liabilities. That’s not erratic…that’s positioning. And if Trump falters, he’s already got a PAC, a persona, and a pipeline waiting.

And Congress? Courts? Traditional media?

They still think this is a debate. It’s not. It’s a takeover cloaked in memes, markets, and misdirection.

I’ve been writing about all this quietly, but urgently. Not just about Trump, but about the deeper infrastructure of distraction that makes him possible. If you’re someone who still believes we can’t afford to look away, check out what I’ve been building.

I’m not here to go viral. I’m here to leave breadcrumbs for the folks who know something’s off but haven’t had the language yet.

You’ll find me where the quiet alarms are going off.

In the 'questions' to be answered, I posted a proposal . It received the most likes (at least most of the time) and could have been addressed in some manner without any commitment. Instead I saw all the other questions answered. Maybe I missed something in the rules. Perhaps it is like the game show Jeopardy where every 'answer' needs to responded to with a question. If it is not phrased as a question, it is not valid.

I never really liked Jeopardy, since to me, first comes the question THEN the answer. We do not get useful answers without first understanding the problem.

The Question is: Why do so many people not realize how bad Trump is?

The answer is: Trump is BAD in far too many ways and keeps getting away with it, in part by forcing the news cycle past each crime so people assume it was not that big a deal. Since any given crime never got publicly resolved they assume it was "Much to do about nothing at all". After this happens more than a hundred times, people assume the new story is going to be the same. Accusations, Denials, people shouting a lot, Next story. Trump accuses as well, the biggest difference is that Trump never provides evidence while Democrats wait until they have rock solid evidence, but since MOST people have no time to look at any evidence, to them they sound the same. Even when Trump loses in court, Trump simply accuses the judge, the prosecutor, everyone he can dream up, to make it 'purely political' which people then assume is more of the same, besides they had long since learned about the 'forever accusations' and just tune it out

Standard news media is focused on NEWS. If it is not new, it does not sell. Trump uses this. Standard news media focuses on accusations and how people feel about it, and rarely dive into actual evidence. In fact a LOT of standard news media covers 'Politics', including anything about any politician, in terms of polls, based upon often leading questions as opposed to policies and facts. What we are doing is not working, we keep pointing out that a convicted felon has committed MANY more crimes and everyday we focus on NEW crimes committed by what is known as a 'repeat offender'.

The question is: How do we break this cycle, help people get a better grasp on reality and at the same time help us move forward to heal this nation?

Answer: Enter my 'Modest Proposal' here. Consider it a starting point for discussion.

What would be news is changing the narrative, solving problems, talking about what needs to be done after Trump goes away. Going beyond just fixing his damage, fixing the problems that made 'swing voters' desperate enough to vote for him in the first place. Selling hope versus fear.
