Billionaire investor Leon Cooperman warned on Fox News that the U.S. economy is headed for a recession. Coming from a conservative-friendly platform and a prominent figure, this challenges Donald Trump’s claim to be the best steward of the economy. Rising gas prices, market corrections, and overvalued stocks signal growing pain for everyday Americans.
Donald Trump recently gave a rambling speech to Republican congressional members at a fundraising dinner. He obsessed over State of the Union applause lines, contradicted himself on the Iran war, misremembered government agencies, and attacked mail-in voting despite voting that way himself. Republican leaders are concerned about his impact on November’s elections.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt gave confusing responses to questions about military actions in Iran. Her answers jumped across topics, contradicted themselves, and dismissed the need for congressional approval by claiming major combat operations were already underway.
A pastor and spiritual advisor to Pete Hegseth prayed for the literal death of Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico. Talarico responded with grace, tweeting he still loves the pastor despite the death prayer. The episode shows how some Christian nationalist figures use religion aggressively in politics and highlights the high stakes in the Texas Senate race.
Donald Trump spent the early morning hours on Truth Social obsessing over the filibuster and pushing the SAVE AMERICA Act. He called to “terminate the filibuster” and claimed NATO allies must support his war in Iran. Trump is trying to spin rising gas prices, the Iran war, and potential Republican losses into a narrative of decisive action.
Republican support for Trump is showing cracks over the Iran war. Nancy Mace tweeted that public justifications don’t match the military objectives she was briefed on, calling it “deeply troubling” and warning that support will erode. Marjorie Taylor Greene, already estranged from Trump, criticized the war as unprovoked and politically disastrous, benefiting Israel more than the U.S.

Some of the most tragic things about this is that innocent people are going to be killed by the thousands. It’ll not only be innocent Iranians it will be our soldiers. It’ll probably get to the point where there are terrorist attacks within the US.
The United States killed off the leadership of Iran and while that may turn out to be a good thing, more likely than that they will turn out to be a very bad thing.
Ukraine is now able to bombard Moscow at will. So far they have only hit Oil facilities and weapons production. The Iranians have been hitting all of our military basis in the region and because of Trump’s poor planning for this bullshit war they haven’t been able to protect themselves because his assholes didn’t plan for this.
If the Iranians are able to hit American soil, and that’s not out of the question, they’re not going to go after the Pentagon or any military operations, I suspect their first targets will be the White House, Air Force One which they could easily hit on takeoff and Mar-a-Lago which could be hit with missiles from beyond the horizon. Don’t be surprised if that happens.
