Progressive candidates for President that aren’t middle of the road won’t win the red states. We need Governor Newsom

No. Vance has no street cred whatsoever. He would be the final nail in the Republican’s coffin.

That may be, but if trump endorses him, he’ll be the candidate, street cred or not.

No. Only if Vance becomes POTUS before the end of Trump’s current term. We need to impeach, convict, and remove Trump, Vance, Entire Cabinet and every SCOTUS Justice that is compromised by foreign intelligence which definitely includes all who voted for Presidential Immunity.

We need a candidate that will bring all the different voices of the party together, not far left or center left. What counts is, "We have to win!" Right now that candidate looks like Gavin Newsom. But, I know a lot can change before 2028.

wasn't going to comment, but at age 85, I feel I have a right to my opinion. I have always split my vote and went for the candidate most in line with my knowledge. No more. After the current fiasco, I must vote Democratic or a liberal slanted independent, think Angus. A vote for AOC is similar to one for Sanders or Warren which is tempting. Newsom appeals and has the qualifications.

I was liking Newsom years ago when he did a tour of Southern red states to help inspire and train Democrats in long-forgotten districts. Now he is standing up against the Orange Jesus when we need it. It's Way too early, but I'm rooting for the guy willing to do what's needed at grass roots level years in advance. We All need to be thinking that way.

I would strongly favor one of the governors (won’t name which one) with either Pete B. Or AOC as v.p., to win. My actual pick would be Pete, but being realistic, know that the narrow-minded crowd in both parties would sink him.

A large field would be a double edged sword. The last time we had one, we got a “not trump” president.

As for the republicans, I’ll quote Hillary and group them as a “basket of deplorables”.

The GOP party has lost the trust of so many Americans because if Trump. The more they turn a blind eye to their constituents the worse they look. I must say historically they have never looked so bad.

What we needed in 2016 was Bernie Sanders, but the DNC blocked his candidacy. I think he is still the candidate who can appeal to disaffected voters. Too bad he’s so old. Second choice is Pete Buttigieg, who is awesome,

We clearly need a progressive populist candidate to rally behind. Combined with the clear winners in this year’s elections and it looks like the electorate is sending a clear message. Will the party listen this time…? That’s the question. I hope so.

U.S. representative from Texas, Al Green, says he will file impeachment articles before Christmas. Yesterday, November 22, demonstrators rallied around Al Green, chanting "IMPEACH! CONVICT! REMOVE!" Maybe the Remove Coalition movement will grow to the extent that the removal of the man in the highest office of the land, a dangerous, malignant narcissistic old man slipping further and further into dementia, will be achieved. What we are experiencing today is definitely growing public discontent with the current administration.
