It’s always the not for these times when it comes to women candidates. Maybe you’re not being misogynistic but we have a history of “very competent” women being held back.

Just when will it be the right time for women?

I say this with love - I think it’s very optimistic to believe there will be elections - or at least fair ones - in ‘26 or ‘28.

Mrs. Harris has no plan to run in 2026 or 2028. And no, you're not being misogynistic.

Jon and David are quite right about what happened in the white house in 2024. I did not want Joe Biden to run for a second term. I don't think there was a cover up and it was a big mistake on the part of his aids to support him in that mirage.

Jon Favreau gives me an example of those Democrats who act when they are sure to win which has never been a good idea. Kamala Harris had less chance because of the majority of alpha males in your country. A bit like for Hillary Clinton . I hope there will be more Democrats really standing up like Gavin Newson otherwise things will get worse for the USA and the rest of the democratic countries in the world.

The Democrats have a short list of demands, including continuing the Obamacare subsidies so many Americans depend upon for their insurance. They should not cave on ANY of their demands. Right wing radio is already saying Congress has to “step up” to save these subsidies (though they fail to mention Obamacare by name). Democratic leaders should hammer home the point that the Trump Administration is responsible for ending them. They caved last time and Trump continued his assault of Democracy. Let ‘em shut it down.
