Trump’s immigrant lies are unraveling, with even some MAGA supporters doubting claims that immigrants are criminals or economic burdens. In reality, immigrants commit fewer crimes than native-born Americans and boost the economy by paying taxes, filling key jobs, and starting businesses at high rates. Conservative research, like that from the Cato Institute, supports these facts. Costly and harmful policies like mass deportations are impractical, and with an aging population and declining birth rates, immigration is crucial for future growth and innovation.
The cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has sparked questions about possible political interference. FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr dodged a clear denial when asked if Trump was involved. Though the show was losing money, it was still the top-rated late-night program, making the sudden cancellation suspicious. This incident fits a larger pattern of targeting media figures critical of Trump.
Mehdi Hasan’s recent debate on Jubilee’s Surrounded series got a lot of praise for his sharp arguments, but the show’s format brings up some concerns. It’s built more for confrontation and going viral than for real, meaningful conversation. While the show does challenge misinformation at times, the way it’s set up can end up normalizing extreme views because it focuses more on clicks and drama than on clear, thoughtful discussion.
Finally, Sarah Matthews, former deputy press secretary during the first Trump administration, joins us to discuss her experiences working in the White House and her perspectives on the administration’s inner workings.

The “evil” immigrant is complete political fiction and attempts to instill prejudice in our free country. Oh, wait, the current regime isn’t about freedom — isn’t there a clip from day one of Trump vowing to be a dictator on day one?
