Trump voters are about to get what they deserve
Trump voters are likely to experience the consequences of their choice as his policies may harm many of his own supporters, including working families and minority voters. While Trump gained support from diverse groups, many were drawn more to cultural grievances than to his specific policies. Now, they are set to endure policies that favor the wealthy, undermine democratic checks, and focus on protecting Trump’s interests. Democrats’ efforts to sway these voters through policy arguments have largely failed, suggesting a need to step back. By allowing Trump supporters to feel the impact of his governance firsthand, their perspectives may shift in future elections.
Gavin Newsom calls SPECIAL SESSION to NUKE Trump
California Governor Gavin Newsom is preparing to resist Donald Trump’s potential second term by calling a special session to "Trump-proof" the state. Newsom's efforts aim to protect immigrant rights, reproductive freedoms, and climate policies from anticipated federal rollbacks. California Attorney General Rob Bonta is organizing a legal strategy, with other blue-state leaders like New York’s Kathy Hochul and Massachusetts’ Maura Healey also preparing defenses. Newsom stresses that California will not allow Trump’s agenda to undermine the state’s freedoms and standards. This highlights the importance of Democratic governors in safeguarding progressive policies at the state level.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump will start mass deportations on DAY ONE
Donald Trump’s campaign has announced plans to begin a sweeping deportation operation on his first day in office, aimed at millions of undocumented immigrants. Campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt described this as the “largest mass deportation operation,” signaling an aggressive approach to immigration that appeals to many frustrated voters. There are rising concerns that Trump’s plan could extend beyond undocumented immigrants alone, with mentions of militarized deportation camps intensifying fears. This plan underscores stark political divides and highlights the stakes in upcoming elections, as Trump’s approach promises to reshape immigration policy in ways that could have wide-reaching effects across communities.
From yesterday’s show:
HORROR: Trump criminal cases will END because he won
With Donald Trump winning the presidential election, the DOJ reportedly plans to wind down his federal criminal cases before he takes office, following a policy of not prosecuting a sitting president. This development essentially means Trump could avoid federal consequences for his actions, adding to concerns about accountability. Critics point out that the law seemingly doesn’t apply to him, contradicting Republican claims of being the “party of law and order.” This situation underscores the high stakes of disengagement and the importance of political participation. Many now feel driven to strategize and respond to these developments, recognizing how deeply they could affect the nation.

In contrast, the USA will become very much more attractive to both billionaires and also fugitives evading justice. If the President has immunity from his crimes then it makes the US like many other emerging nations such as Israel where the current PM has immunity from bribery charges as long as he holds office.
The Biden Administration, especially Kamala Harris during her campaign, addressed the concerns of the middle class. Joe Biden is a great president but he made the same mistake made by Ruth Bader Ginsberg. He thought he had more time. When the stakes are this high, it never pays to gamble. The loss was because of money interests, misogyny that we never expected was so extensive, and a media that normalized a campaign that was anything but. The outrage is warrented but the blaming needs to stop and we have to roll up our sleeves and get back in the fight. We have a hell of a lot of work ahead of us.
