Donald Trump is reportedly considering a deal with Iran that looks almost identical to the 2015 nuclear agreement he scrapped in 2018. Limits on uranium enrichment, international inspections, and missile restrictions mirror the old Obama-era deal. Scrapping the original agreement helped create the current crisis, fueling war, driving up gas prices, and costing lives.
Suspicious market activity hit just minutes before Trump announced he would delay strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure. Over $800 million in oil and S&P futures were traded in a single minute, betting on exactly that outcome. Someone clearly had advance knowledge, or the announcement was used to move markets, allowing certain traders to profit.
Claims that Democrats are to blame for TSA workers going unpaid during the government shutdown are false. Republican Senator John Kennedy said he and Ted Cruz proposed funding TSA immediately while handling immigration funding separately, but Trump refused to make any deal with Democrats.
Donald Trump made confusing and inconsistent statements during a press conference on Iran. He claimed negotiations with Iran were progressing, despite Iranian officials denying any talks, and refused to name his negotiating contacts. At the same time, he insisted on retaining the $200 billion in additional military funding.
Donald Trump visited Graceland and a signed guitar amid the conflict with Iran and rising gas prices. While presidents can attend public events during wartime, the timing is inappropriate given the strain on American families.
Jessica Tarlov stood out on Fox News for clearly explaining the TSA funding situation. She debunked the false claim that Democrats are blocking funding and highlighted Trump’s refusal to negotiate. She also pointed out the suspicious timing of Iran announcements and market movements, which her co-hosts dismissed.
Finally, at an event in Memphis, Trump struggled to stay awake while acolytes lavished praise. He deflected responsibility for Iran decisions onto Pete Hegseth while celebrating border security and law enforcement, creating a bizarre mix of cultish hero-worship and performative patriotism.
