Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, has been arrested by British police over alleged misconduct tied to Jeffrey Epstein and questions about whether he shared confidential trade information while serving as the UK’s Special Envoy. In a world where elites often appear insulated, this signals that proximity to power does not automatically guarantee protection. It raises basic questions about equal application of the law and whether institutions are willing to hold well-connected figures accountable.
Donald Trump campaigned as an anti-war peace president. Now he appears close to a major escalation with Iran as nuclear talks stall. The timing, just before the State of the Union, is politically convenient. A foreign crisis can redirect attention from unmet domestic promises. With reports of U.S. military deployments, this looks like more than posturing.
Trump’s so-called Board of Peace meeting looked more like a loyalty display than diplomacy. He jokingly warned Marco Rubio not to do any better than him, he accepted praise touting his FIFA Peace Prize, and reduced Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to her appearance.
Video from that same event shows Trump appearing to fall asleep, eyes closed and head slumped during a morning meeting. This is the same figure who mocked Joe Biden’s stamina. Now similar incidents are minimized by his allies.
At a White House Black History Month event, Trump spoke at length about his White House ballroom project and revisited his false 2020 election claims. He cited Nicki Minaj, Herschel Walker, and Mike Tyson as proof he is not racist. In the end, the focus drifted from Black history to personal validation.
New photos again show pronounced bruising on Trump’s hand, this time covered with heavy makeup. The discoloration has appeared repeatedly, sometimes hidden with bandages. The White House attributes it to handshaking and medication. The concern is not age itself. It is transparency, especially from a president who markets strength and mocks opponents’ health.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt faced pointed questions about student walkouts, tariff rebate checks, energy prices, and Trump’s social media posts. She said Trump’s Truth Social posts should be treated as official expressions of his views, which calls into question his recent reposting of a racist video depicting the Obamas as apes.
Finally, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump appeared on CNBC promoting their crypto venture, World Liberty Forum. Pressed about potential conflicts tied to foreign investors, including a reported stake sale to a member of the Emirati royal family, they denied wrongdoing but avoided detailed ethical discussion. They framed their crypto push as innovation and as retaliation against political targeting.
