Helicopter footage shows tear gas and pepper rounds fired on residents and Chicago police officers. Thirteen officers were overcome by gas. Several minors were injured or detained, raising concerns that federal forces violated a recent court order restricting chemical weapons. This marks the third such incident in weeks.
At a White House ceremony honoring the late Charlie Kirk, Donald Trump joked about surviving a shooter, prompting criticism, as Kirk was killed with a gun. At another event, Trump praised Hamas over rival militias in Gaza, contradicting U.S. foreign policy that designates Hamas as a terrorist organization. Trump continues to make inaccurate claims about wildfire prevention in California, including nonexistent water valves and mismanaged sprinkler systems, prompting criticism from Governor Gavin Newsom. Newsom highlighted these statements as signs of cognitive decline, echoing concerns that Trump may be showing early signs of dementia.

The logs reveal antisemitic and racist comments, including endorsements of Hitler and violent rhetoric.
